half@lemy.lol 2 weeks agoThat’s kind of the idea. I miss the originality of old systems, but it seems like a lot of developers are prioritizing consistency and learnability for the sake of accessibility.

Makes sense as developers probably got sick of helping their family fix simple issues that were just slightly more work than pressing a single button.
