He could have just not shown up to the inauguration. He could have declared a state of emergency. He could have taken control of the military. He could have done any number of things, but he didn’t. Instead, he stepped down when the time came. That’s not a dictatorial thing to do when you have power.
Oh yeah, and Trump wanted to protect the Capitol Building.

He’s got Project 2025 in his pocket this time and will fill all possible government roles with people who will work to dismantle democracy. The first time was a chaotic shitshow. If he wins again it will be a well organized shitshow which is far more terrifying.
