And on a higher level: supporting the current leadership of the Mongolians (Ogedai and his followers) - who appears more peaceful compared to Genghis Khan of the previous generation - would lead to fewer wars and fewer repeats of tragedies like Sitara’s past.

Totally, Boraqchin seems like the type of person who thinks the goals justifies the means. I can totally see her going into “preventive” war with other nations to keep the stand.
