You and me both. We are talking about a supernatural being here, so we have the deus part handled. Anything is possible. It would certainly be a bold choice to kill Aqua off at this point. Not only would it devastate Ruby, but I am sure Miyako as well. That would also put an end to the Kana/Akane battles as well.
On a silly note, I kind of want Aqua to die and then be seated in a chair across from the water goddess Aqua. Coming next year…Aqua^2^
