Comment on CBS colleagues ‘scared to speak up’ for Jewish presenter caught in bias scandal

Fuck this. Doukopil was wrong and exemplifies the absence of nuance our world is familiar with these days. He can’t grasp what Coates was saying because in his small mind, there’s no room for compassion for life alongside criticism of state.

LOL, he was wrong for asking questions? He’s a journalist. The Western left has gone off the deep end of insanity.

His question was disingenuous and not remotely related to reality. Never once did Tanehisi Coates say that Israel can’t “defend” itself or that it had no right to exist.
Asking the question the way he did intimates that this was Coates was doing this. So does your response.

He wrote a completely biased one-sided book attacking Israel as an illegitimate country, one that he knows will be lapped up by his disciples as gospel. It’s propaganda and any reputable journalist would challenge him on it.

You didn’t read it apparently.

Nah I’m so left I would make AOC smell of fish. But I haven’t met a Palestinian who was reasonable. My kid has two Palestinian classmates and they’re both dicks. I am the sort of person to choose sides and specifically going after families and murdering children puts you firmly in the “them” category. So yeah I’m not shedding a tear over gaza.
