Oh look, the consequences of my own actions… Well, in fairness to them, if they had thought this through fully, then it wouldn’t be a very interesting show. The two of them are very cute together. Their couples performance and decorations as part of Operation Love Nest were great.
I am curious to know how things are going to work out with the dad and how he heard about the wedding. Could the mysterious voice over the phone have tipped off the dad?
One thing that I have really liked about this is that Honjoji has so far been the more assertive of the pair. I think it is a nice change of pace from so many other series in which the story is told from the male character’s POV and nothing happens without him taking direct action. That being said, I feel like Oohara has been too passive with all this. I would like to see him get more involved in things rather than letting Honjoji do all the planning and execution of their cover story.

It definitely feels like we’re setting things up for Honjoji to be the brains and Oohara to be the heart, and as things drift from scheme to genuine relationship, we’ll see him grow and start to be a bit more active. At least, that’s my prediction. For now I’m here to see him do his character development, but if they take too long it’ll definitely be frustrating to watch.

Yeah, that is my worry as well; that it will be a very long, drawn-out process for Oohara to develop. He is a little frustrating right now if I am honest. However, he is far from the worst romcom character that I have come across, sometimes getting 100+ chapters in while waiting for them to get better. So, I am here for now, but hoping that he doesn’t drag his feet too much. I couldn’t help but roll my eyes this episode as he was freaking out about the ring like he was a middle schooler or something.
