Let’s say that they were rude. Wouldn’t it be a better solution to block them and go do something else, instead of spending all this time on these 2 threads and pMessages and screenshots
What were you defending yourself from? A disagreement on a lemmy thread 🙄 on a relatively inconsequential subject 🤦
Daily life is abrasive enough; if lemmy became another source of stress for you, just cut it off.

Defending my ideas is something I enjoy doing and it’s a way I like to spend some of my downtime and I’m not alone in this. And I like to do this respectfully. If you think it’s a waste of time, that’s fine, but I don’t need to hear about it.
But I want to know why you choose to scold me as if I’m doing something wrong for participating in a forum like it’s meant to instead of the people being disrespectful and breaking the rules.
