sugar_in_your_tea@sh.itjust.works 3 weeks agoThat depends on your definition of “we.” As soon as there’s anything that phones home, that’s when alarm bells should be going off. I wasn’t in the market when this started being a thing, but I do recall talking about it with those who were, and I wasn’t happy about cars phoning home. I’d be very surprised if I’m alone in this.

I’m sure you’re not alone, but the level of awareness that is was even a thing was so low that most of us never even had a chance to object. So yes, “we”.
