@elliek @bookstodon On reading that you'd listened to the audiobook 4 times, I checked out a sample on Libro.fm and was thoroughly charmed. Borrowed it on Libby yesterday and started it this morning. Thanks for the rec! (I'd heard of it when it first came out but somehow believed it wouldn't interest me.)

@elliek @bookstodon Today was nail trim day for Cocoa too; she was getting very pointy after less than a month since her last trim at her routine vet visit on July 1. Mom did the actual trimming while I held the scruff of Cocoa's neck (first time I've used that tactic.) Much catnip was dispensed after the ordeal.
