I think the reason it’s so prevalent here in the US is because the vast majority of the population ended up here at least in part due to immigration. So identifying as ethnically originating from elsewhere is a part of that self identity.
The disparity however, is knowing that while traveling through Europe, this style of self identification falls flat because simply being ethnically from a place doesn’t mean you can claim to be born and raised from there. And that meaning is what’s different between the US and Europe.

Having used their software in the past, I’m personally quite uncomfortable with this technology being used to monitor American citizens.

YouTube has a subscriptions feed that shows videos only from channels you follow.
I’ve found that turning the watch history off results in more accurate and relevant recommended videos from videos you watch from your subscribed channels.
When the recommended videos suddenly go off kilter, it’s telling that the video you’re watching is somehow related to the weird side of YouTube.

4, 5, 9.
4 because while the process might be painful, aside from the process it’s not an extreme change. And because I needed to pick 3 and only 3 options.
5 because that super strength would certainly come in handy if it’s controllable. It would suck if everything gets absolutely crushed by accident the moment you attempt to interact with it.
9 because why the hell not. You can’t be happy all the time, and the rest of the options seem to be a net negative. So at least being able to live comfortably or account for #5 would be okay

I’ve never done it but I do know you can technically make it by slicing up nice lean cuts of steak. Marinading them so they soak up the flavor. Then dangling them on the rack in the oven on the lowest heat setting with the door cracked open for a few hours. A friend of mine did this and they came out amazing with deer jerky.

Lol nah I’m right handed. But to get the geometry right, my fridge is on the right side of the kitchen, and the door hinge is on the right. So the eggs stay on the left side of the fridge closest to the rest of the kitchen counter tops. So the carton comes out and goes back in the same orientation using my right hand. Meaning I’m always grabbing the heavy side with the eggs.
I’m still careful anytime I’m grabbing the carton just in case, but so far no dropped eggs in the house

Ngl I’m too lazy to do this and just take eggs out from right to left. I always put the carton back in the fridge the same way so the weight is always on the end I grab.

If instance owners do not want to vet their users behavior if other instances speak up, the instance that is misbehaving gets defederated from the rest. That’s the power of federated services.

Quantum entanglement/teleportation does not mean information transmission exceeds the speed of light. You’re still limited to sending entangled particles to your destination following the laws of physics. You cannot transmit information via this phenomenon.
What you can use this for is transmission integrity. Where you will know if an outside observer intercepted your transmission then sent it on its way to the destination. This is more commonly known as a man in the middle attack (MitM).

I know they’re harmless and help with pests. But they got away too many legs and move just as fast for me to be comfortable with them. I’ll take cute little jumping spiders webbing things any day over these.
