I’m confused. I thought people need PSN link for multiplayer and can play the single player without it.
Though still a shit move and I’d say sail the high seas 🏴☠️

If you really don’t have much time to game, I’d still say try to wait. It’ll be more fleshed out later on and perhaps out of EA(?).
- Comment on Promoted on TikTok, ‘No Thanks’ boycott app targets products tied to Israel 3 weeks ago:
I think you haven’t watched the news about the boycotts on for example; Starbucks and Mcdonalds. Also about Samsung leaving Israel
- Comment on Promoted on TikTok, ‘No Thanks’ boycott app targets products tied to Israel 3 weeks ago:
The text is from the TimesOfIsrael website, so blame them for being wrong.
Screenshot of TimesOfIsrael Site
What matters is that the app exists and helps to boycot and from what I understood is that Israel wants to see it banned.
- Comment on Promoted on TikTok, ‘No Thanks’ boycott app targets products tied to Israel 3 weeks ago:
I have the app and the developer is a Palestinian himself. I’m genuinely hoping it survives, the app helps a lot to boycot products that deal with Israel.
It’s unfortunate to see that so many products have deals with Israel. Some products are sadly impossible to avoid.
Here’s a screenshot about the app from within the app itself
The app on the AppStore (IOS): No Thanks App

Ohh that’s sad to hear. I was thinking to get the Samsung Galaxy A14.
- Comment on Apple keeps flogging 8GB of RAM for its Mac computers but it's still a dead horse 4 weeks ago:
I like Apple. Got Apple Watch, AirPods Pro and iPhone. I love the design of MacBooks however I refuse to ever buy MacBooks.
Overpriced like crazy. For half of the price you can get a really great laptop.
I’m honestly even thinking to buy a €200 android device to get used to the system.

I enjoy their games through sailing the high seas.
- Comment on Detroit Become Human caught me by surprise 2 months ago:
Loved this game, played it twice for the different story-endings.
I agree that the game is a bit slow at the beginning but as you mentioned, it introduces everything very well that way. Reards the QTEs (I assume the motion control?), I turned these off after failing multiple attempts and it got me out of the story immersion. Playing without it and having to push buttons instead is a preference for me, it keeps me into the story. After all that’s why we play such games, the story.
However I don’t agree with the sluggish overall (slow pace). It was a decent pace, it keeps the story going on at the right timing. I barely to never replay games and Detroit was one of the few that, I did.
The lock on 60FPS (played it first on PS4 and then PS5) did not bother me much. However, I can understand having more FPS is preferable but not a game-breaker or something that would stop me playing the game again. 60FPS is good for it.
I do not agree with the ‘‘dated graphics’’ at all to be honest. The game looks amazing, even for today. There are games that have been released this year and look worse.
- Comment on Disney+ Drops 1.3 Million Subscribers Amid Price Hike, Streaming Loss Shrinks by $300 Million 3 months ago:
As a non-native English speaker, I thought the same exact thing. That they lost revenue of 300M.
So unfortunately they are gaining revenue? I wish more people would get into Piracy honestly.
- Comment on Disney+ has started cracking down on password sharing in the US 3 months ago:
Was no surprise that other platforms would follow Netflix with not allowing sharing passwords.
What does surprise me is that people actually pay their own subscription for these platforms. Netflix had a win in profit/revenue. I’m surprised that these people did not go for the Piracy method even though, they complain about:
- Price increases
- Not allowed to share password/ account
- Content not available on said platform and having to go to others platforms
- Cancellation of shows after one or two seasons

Ubisoft is shit, most of their games are.
The moment I heard the new Prince of Persia had Denuvo, I wasn’t going to play it anyway.

“Lets just say that person is tech-illiterate without actual knowledge about the particular person - because I have no counterargument”
That what I just read from you.
I’ll just block and ignore you, you’ve proven to be a total troll. Wasted enough of my time and energy on you. Unfortunately.
- Comment on YouTube is slowing down for users with ad blockers in new wave 4 months ago:
It is sad that it took me so long but you’re a troll. 100%.
You are a fine example of a troll. Well played.
- Comment on YouTube is slowing down for users with ad blockers in new wave 4 months ago:
I’d agree that people love the tag-name ‘’Premium’’ therefore might pay for it. I’d also say tech-illiterate people will pay for it because of no knowledge.
However most of the general public do find the price-tag absurd.
Also your ‘’€18/monthly is a bargain’’ just makes me think, I’m arguing with a teenager or at least someone who does not pay for themselves (a friend or family member pays for most of things, I suppose). €18/monthly is €216/yearly, that money can be spent elsewhere, important things (food, education and bills).
Not only that you are essentially saying ‘’Hey, Google. You the one who already owns most of the things, you the owner who’s already A billionaire and have immense data of its users – take more money of me’’. Google is essentially evil in the sense that their track-record isn’t clean. Their ways to gain profit/revenue is not really morally nor ethically right. They can just do it because they are one of the biggest companies in the world.
I personally do not care if YouTube blocks itself for me, that just means – I will find another way to gain access to music and videos. There will always be ways, always.
- Comment on YouTube is slowing down for users with ad blockers in new wave 4 months ago:
Is your “you people” targeted at the ones using Adblock?
If so, here’s another approach; If YouTube actually had a decent ‘premium’ without all the unnecessary “features” in it and the price wasn’t so unreasonable high. People might have paid for it.
In my country YouTube Premium costs €12/monthly which is €144/yearly and for what? Unnecessary features and to block advertisements while still having in-video advertisements (sponsors). No thank you.
I will go with uBlock Origin and Sponsorblock.
- Comment on ‘Front page of the internet’: how social media’s biggest user protest rocked Reddit 4 months ago:
My problem with Lemmy is that it seems/ feels empty.
This might be a me-issue, not doing something right but all I see is technology & politics articles.
I’m subscribed to many communities (like multiple anime communities) and I barely to not see them). I quite miss the conversations on Lemmy.
However going back to Reddit seems to be no point either, everyone just repeat what another one said - or just people fighting each other.
For example; saw a Reddit thread about relationships. Everyone just echo-chamber “leave the relationship”. But what happened to adults just communicating to each other? Lol

Allowing it a little means it will also grow little by little. Which eventually means it will grow back to its old state.
Which I sure hope any sane person would NOT want that.
People have seen and heard what devastating things happened due to Nazism. In my opinion, it should never be allowed.
- Comment on [deleted] 4 months ago:
Never thought the day would come that Nazi content would be allowed.
Sometimes I’m getting a little a afraid that the world goes backwards and all the bad-shit from back then is coming back.
- Comment on Apple’s MacBook Pro memory problem is worse than ever 5 months ago:
So I’m studying Finance with a mix of Accounting and I have been told that MacBooks don’t have the “ALT” key which is a key button for Excel in terms of shortcuts.
As well as what you said probably certain advanced features might not be available. But I’m not certain about this because never had a MacBook.
As well as a software called Power Bi doesn’t work well on MacBooks (slow, freezing or straight up not working). My friend had this issue in university and was forced to use my laptop to do the models.
- Comment on Apple’s MacBook Pro memory problem is worse than ever 5 months ago:
I really do one want but can’t justify €1800-2000 for one or even €3500 if I actually get the one (14 inch screen).
I can get probably a better laptop or PC with lower costs. Plus I have been told that unfortunately MacBooks don’t do well with Excel (still sad about this).
- Comment on How many of you actually use the headphone jack on your phone? 5 months ago:
I used to miss it but nowadays not really. AirPods Pro does the job wirelessly and if I ever have to use a cable version for music, I will just use the connector for the time being.

Quick question regards blocking - how does it work exactly?
When I block someone, I can still see their message. Just won’t get a notification. I thought, it would be blocked entirely - so I’m a bit confused.
- Comment on Tumblr is reportedly on life support as its latest owner reassigns staff 6 months ago:
Didn’t they ban adult content due to CP being posted there? I remember hearing stuff like that about Tumblr.
However adult content is still there, just need some creative thinking to access it.
But the app itself is just horrendous though.
