Then who orchestrated the attacks on only civilians? Hamas hurting civilians is nothing new. Both sides have been assholes long before this started. Everyone in the region would benefit from both parties being prosecuted.

The price is right. This is the only game I ever refunded on steam. It is way more linear than they made it out to be.

I seemed to pass as straight to cis gendered people, but like you said they are looking for that macho man vibe and despite my trying they could always see through it. Only gay and bi people ever showed signs of or did question it. I think much of what makes people uncomfortable about LGBTQ+ is because they see things that they see in themselves they don't like. Society forces people to conform when things are far from black and white.
For example, despite saying that I am bi I have a strong preference towards women. I only crushed hard on a guy once, but never mentioned a word of it and was just best friends with him until we went our separate ways, due to the aforementioned homophobia around us. I wonder now, at this point, how different my life would have been if society was more open. I strongly suspect he wasn't strictly het either as his wife is pan as well among other things.
- Comment on Wife Material 11 months ago:
I recently came to accept that I am bi. I was puzzled how most of my life I only ever had luck with bi/pan women as I had refused to acknowledge that side of me due to rampant homophobia where I grew up. Something about us just repels cis women in my experience. My wife even had gay friends insisting she was a smokescreen and that I was forcing myself to be with her. Part of my trauma growing up was hearing people have the stereotype that bi people are just horny sluts and that it wasn't just how they were born.
There seems to be a stigma against bi men in general just as bad as gay men in my experience (I've even heard tales of gay men hating bi men). Any straight woman I dated, or tried to, always seemed to be repulsed by me. My guess is that it is in the body language, since her gay friends insisted I was too. Society as a whole is getting better at accepting people but it is still fucked.

Exactly, and the few being balanced part is what drives us crazy. My wife is Jewish and has family in Israel. While we hate Hamas we dislike the orthodox Jews almost as much. Even with everything going on we care for the Palestinians that are mixed up with this and acknowledge both sides are truly bad in this. The enemy is Hamas not Palestine. Israel the nation isn't the problem, it's Netanyahu and company. None of that matters however as she has been spit on and treated like shit ever since this started just for her ethnicity.
There is so much information warfare going on and I am sure of it. As soon as that first hospital blew up, media immediately blamed the IDF before any evidence was out. Then all evidence pointed to Hamas being responsible and it barely got covered. Hamas is using hospitals as hiding spots at the very least. Meanwhile they do their best to heard and trap civilians into the crossfire while the IDF steamrolls. The whole situation is just fucked.
It is just so aggravating how everyone treats this as a black and white struggle like Ukraine when it is anything but. It's two shitheads fighting; with Israel at least having dissenters while Palestine is run like a dictatorship. That's the only simple part.

Ideally sure, but we are dealing with capitalism. In a high populated area people will want to find a way to profit over every inch.

Look at what people in NYC and north east NJ call suburban, then look at what someone in upstate NY calls suburban. Density is very different. Look at it as a scale. Dense Urban, Urban, light urban, dense suburban, suburban, etc. I am specifically pointing at places like in NJ where it would more likely be turned into a mall than a park.
- Comment on Very few people realise how environmentally devastating this game is. 1 year ago:
Devil's advocate, in a dense suburban setting it keeps that land from being paved over and turned into a commercial zone. But when it is in a rural setting, absolutely.
- Comment on I love how SNW responded to this sexism by surrounding Pike with women 1 year ago:
True, but I think the context of her being a big influence on his decision to call off the marriage was a big mistake. Making it a musical number was salt in the wound. If they downplayed the former and did the latter in a different episode I don't think it would be so bad.
- Comment on I love how SNW responded to this sexism by surrounding Pike with women 1 year ago:
She's a great character but I only liked Chapel until she did Spock wrong in the musical episode. He pretty much (spoiler) ### left his fiancee for her (end spoiler) then she basically spaces him a few episodes later.

- Comment on Could we use AI to update 4:3 media to 16:9? 1 year ago:
Exactly, and to add to it, you can't know the director's vision or opinion on how the framing should be adjusted. AI can make images easily but it won't understand subtext and context that was intended. No time soon at least.
