I didn’t actually see it myself, but I heard a lot of people thought it looked AI at first and that it was genuine (alternate angles and stuff like you said). It’s good to check up on it (sounds like you actually put the effort in) so we can try to keep our facts straight, as hard as that is these days.
- Comment on Los Angeles aims to ban single-use printer cartridges — new ordinance will target ink and toner that can't be properly recycled 1 week ago:
Just FYI to people that you can get remanufactured ink cartridges for a fraction of the price (around half) of OEM. They are sometimes modified to contain more ink in the same body. The company I purchased from included a prepaid bag to send used cartridges back for reuse.
Also while I’m in PSA mode “REDUCE, REUSE, and then recycle”. Sometimes we skip over the first two steps since reducing is not marketable and reusing rarely is (although reusing printer cartridges appears to be a sustainable business).

Nobody has mentioned mattermost yet. I haven’t stress tested it by any means, but I found it too be decent.

The other hand of the issue is the Democrats have repeatedly failed to recognize and manage the necessary decline of capitalism. It’s “necessary” because capitalism had globalized and essentially run out of land and people too exploit.
Exploited countries will push (are pushing) back, and/or look for other options (China, etc). Because the Democratic party is a pro-capitalism party, they are unable to recognize this situation. Republicans recognize it and turn up the heat, both internally and externally. For a lot of (foolish) Americans, this looks like an appealing option.
The democrats could sweep 2028, but it means the snapback is going to be even more intense in 2032 when they fail to govern.

I think we are going to have another decade or two or that, with the way things are looking
- Comment on Danish Forces Are Mandated to Fire Back if U.S. Attacks Greenland 3 weeks ago:
It’s a settler-colonial project built on the exploitation of stolen land and exploited labor. As true in the 1700s as it is today. It isn’t possible for this sort of entity to mantain stability once the supply of land and people to exploit runs out.
