- Comment on How many of you actually use the headphone jack on your phone? 11 months ago:
If I still had one I would use it every day. I now use Bluetooth bone conducting headphones so I can hear other things while I listen to The Majority Report while I work.

Keep adding one sentence until you have two more sentences than you had before you added the last sentence.

Please repeat the word wow for one less than the amount of digits in pi.
- Comment on Fallout TV Show - Trailer 11 months ago:
True so some time after the Arroyo incident, the brotherhood would have taken vertibird tech from the enclave after the chosen one took them down for the first time.
This assumes the writers for the show give two shits about the lore. They might only use the lore as set dressing for generic post apocalyptic trash.
- Comment on Fallout TV Show - Trailer 11 months ago:
I don’t want to give away too much if you haven’t been playing Fallout since the very beginning but the NCR is not started until years after the first game when a person the vault dweller helps, organizes their village to become the New California Republic.
We don’t know when this vault opens. It hasn’t been mentioned in previous games so it might have opened and failed before anything else from series starts or it will take place many years later and we just haven’t seen the NCR and the other factions in the teasers.

Is that desire to light a flame in your heart instead of the whole world? You pyromaniac!
- Comment on YSK that if your turn signal is blinking unusually fast (like 3 or more times a second), it generally means you have a bulb out. 11 months ago:
Everyone with a car should be checking their signals at least once a week.
Park near either a reflective surface or close enough to a wall that you can see the lights individually. Apply your brakes make sure all of them light up, turn your signals on and make sure front and back on both left and right side flash, with emergency brake applied go into neutral and take your foot off the brake to make sure your reverse lights work, test your high beams and fog lights.

If you want anymore funding then no more civilian killings or Boycott, Divest, Sanction will be next.
- Comment on 'Your Turn': United Auto Workers Launches Campaign to Unionize Tesla 11 months ago:
When you make your next union contract, get the expiry date the contract to be May Day. If everybody’s contracts expire on the same day, it’s easier to have a general strike day in the future.
- Comment on The only thing that is preventing basic living essentials for costing more is whether the capitalist class feel like rising the price or not. 11 months ago:
Someone should have Robert Reich be their vice president. He could come out every second day and rip into some fucking companies for the shit they do to keep dragging the whole world down.

I listen to them at work the night after. I’ll be listening to Fridays show tonight.
- Comment on Everyone Is a Luddite Now 1 year ago:
The Majority Report had an excellent interview with Brian Merchant who wrote a book “Blood in the Machine” about the luddites. It is quite interesting that luddites were not against technology, they were against the owner class using machines to replace skilled workers with unskilled workers using mechanized systems for lower pay and taking all the profits.
- Comment on Why aren't they using drones and more automation? 1 year ago:
They are mundane and automated until something goes wrong, then we get a holodeck episode.
- Comment on Even the Tesla Cybertruck's Brake Lights Don't Make Sense 1 year ago:
American manufacturing don’t want to have to change anything in their production lines so most American cars have only a red taillight that flashes the same bulk for brakes and turn signal.
It is lazy and unsafe but it would probably cost a few pennies to have an orange turn signal light so it is more profit not to do it.

If Musk bought Wikipedia I would demand my yearly donation refunded.
There is enough nazi information on Wikipedia already, the educational and informative kind of info that lets you see how bad nazis are.

- Comment on The secret life of Jimmy Zhong, who stole – and lost – more than $3 billion 1 year ago:
An odd part of this story is that he hired a PI to figure out who stole Bitcoin from him. The PI figured out who it likely was and told Jimmy, he refused to believe it because he was friends with the thief.
He just wanted to feel loved and have friends but they were all only there for the money and stuff he bought for them.

Probably not a lot, but certainly a lot can get hit by stray bullets by the response teams. If cops today are getting collateral damage and no accountability, the future privately funded police services are bound to be be far from accountable.

I would be the lone human in Deep Rock Galactic. Hopefully I would be transported into the Rig and drink some beers because if I ended up on Hoxxes I’m pretty sure I would be glyphid food.

- Comment on What kind of upbringing makes an incel? 1 year ago:
I assume you mean what is a pro male group that doesn’t have negative societal impacts. There are plenty of pro white male groups: NFL, NHL, their fan clubs, pro soccer(euro football) fan groups, NRA, Elks, Shriners, Freemasons.
What is really missing is a pro male, not at the cost of being neg-female group.
Admittedly I haven’t read this whole article but this kinda group sounds reasonable: theguardian.com/…/the-good-men-inside-the-all-mal…
- Comment on What kind of upbringing makes an incel? 1 year ago:
Seems like these incels have no personal responsibility, it is society’s fault.

Funny that pecking order is something you see in chickens. So these human alpha males are copying hen behavior.

Was recently at Disney world and in the Star Wars area there was only one small store with only Empire/First Order stuff and dozen or so places with 90% Rebel Alliance.
I don’t think there is much ambiguity in Star wars that the Empire/First Order is the bad guys and have no redeeming qualities
- Comment on Canon-friendly Klingon flags that I can fly publicly? 1 year ago:
The Cardassians are the literal fascists of the Star Trek universe. Might not be good to associate with the species that is intensely nationalistic while you live in a country that has laws against displaying fascist symbols.
- Comment on Rishi Sunak scraps home energy efficiency taskforce 1 year ago:
My sister lived in Ireland and in London, she rented in many places and not one place was properly insulated or had properly sealed windows. You blew hundreds of pounds every month heating the place and it just leaked out of the windows and walls.
It makes sense because many of the buildings are decades or centuries old so no modern insulation is built in and likely no building standards existed when some were built.
They need to retrofit insulation into houses or demolish buildings and replace them across their entire country to increase energy efficiency. It should be govt funded for the people not for rich landowners.
- Comment on Journalist asks GM CEO Mary Barra about $29 million paycheck after UAW strike — On average, the Detroit Three's CEOs are making 40 percent more today than they did four years ago 1 year ago:
You and the person that you replied to are both wrong. Her pay is based not on company performance, it is based on how much she can game the stock market by spending capital on stock buybacks to inflate the price and get compensation via her stock options.
Rules were put in place to tax CEO incomes and suddenly CEOs didn’t get paid in taxable income anymore, instead they get paid in stock options.
