  It is literally filled to the BRIM with all sorts of trek references literal and metaphorical, only true fans would get them all

  It’s popular because it was made for fans with cameos and references to the trek we have all known and loved.

  My exact question. I saw season 1 when it aired but life happened and I never came back to watch the other seasons. Tbh i thought it was over at this point.

  Anyone wanna give me the motivation to binge the next four seasons? Did the show mature?

  I truly expected to slog thru it so my trek library could be complete and entirely watched. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! Definitely a comfort series for me now like lower decks is - chill authentic trek

  not going with the team that actually reconstructed the art style

  Ah, that is a bit of a shame. Are there any screenshots or something or just word of using a different team?
