I don’t understand why individuals are so set on centralized generation. We suddenly have the capabilities to decentralize generation and greatly reduce the need for the grid. I think it is worth it for the aesthetic advantages alone.

I had a friend that was very good at it.
Get in and get out. Dont hang around. Don’t hesitate.

You are very correct.
I don’t really want someone who is "tough on crime"in Russia, China or Taiwan , but I can understand why people in Haiti would be in favor of it.

Which chip exactly? Show me the datasheet. What SOC do they use for the smarts? Got a data sheet for it?
How would you think you would physically attach the display to the device “running the dumb display driver software”
- Comment on Can you un-smart a smart tv? 8 months ago:
I wonder if they require you to reconnect on a regular basis. Would this strategy have gotten you past the last Roku agreement issue?
- Comment on Can you un-smart a smart tv? 8 months ago:
I’ve gotta believe that inside somewhere there is an HDMI signal going to the monitor that you could move to the outside. I can’t imagine they are using anything else. It would take opening it up and looking around.
- Comment on Can you un-smart a smart tv? 8 months ago:
It is my understanding that some smart TVs won’t do anything without you connecting and accepting the license agreement.
