Yeah I wish Solid Edge got more attention! It’s absolutely comparable to Fusion, just the slightest bit more convoluted. I love it because I don’t have to deal with the cloud garbage, and constant sign outs on fusion.
I’ll have to give Alibre a try it looks nice from what I saw on their website! Do you know by chance if it supports 3mf’s?

Hopefully one day it’ll get an easier ui for fusion 360 and Solid Edge users (like myself). I really want to use free cad but every time I try it’s super frustrating to do even basic things and often takes so many extra steps I just end up cading it up in solid edge instead

More than likely, I’m sure a majority of iPhone users don’t care or even notice this. I personally would have loved to see the ability to add fast expandable storage to an iPhone over usb. I usually load movies, shows, podcasts and music on my phone since unfortunately there tends to be very limited connection to cell towers where I am.

I totally agree, I wish apple would have implemented it on their end. I’m just happy that my already unencrypted texts won’t take multiple hours to go through now

Any of my comms through these means have no security implications anyway. They would have gone through unencrypted sms before this, so idrc if discord or the feds would know my very limited plans with friends and family. I just care that my already unencrypted messages won’t take multiple hours to go through soon

Ofc, neither was sms

Yet apple being apple both the 15 and 16 non pro models are arbitrarily limited to USB 2.0

Teams does a lot of things right, it was designed to replace Skype business and in that aspect they have definitely made something better and easier to interact with. That being said it’s still a garbage chat app, and I would never use it outside of work.

I have been using Spectacle for a few years now, I quite prefer it over snip (though the last version of snip I used was win7)!

God I hope not, that would lead to awful battery health and lots of laggy interactions with devices over Bluetooth since the bandwidth for bt5 is 2 Mbps

Looks like drooping to me, I would see if lowering nozzle temp improves/solves this

- Comment on do you think it's worth to update an old CR-10s? 10 months ago:
I would consider them essential upgrades rather than essential parts, since they are competely optional and aren’t required to make the printer functional!
There are endless amounts of upgrades for printers this is barely touching the surface!
- Comment on do you think it's worth to update an old CR-10s? 10 months ago:
I still rock my cr-10 v1 only changes I’ve made, added cr touch, added second z lead screw, added creality direct drive extruder, added a pi with octoprint, replaced all fans with noctuas including the control box, added dampeners on all steppers and replaced the original glass plate for a textured glass plate
Thing still prints like a dream, and more accurately than the 30k$ printer at my work lol
So I would say yeah upgrade it, it’s worth it

Yeah I don’t blame valve for Microsoft dropping security updates and neglecting the last good version of windows. I’ve switched to Linux where this will never happen.

- Comment on Have you ever seen this type of print failure? 11 months ago:
I have seen something similar to this while printing tpu but never with pla
I have heard of silk pla filament jamming but this looks like more of a retraction problem to me
If it’s a jam check to make sure that your nozzle is clear of any debris
If it’s retraction
Either too many retractions happening too quickly breaking the fillament at your extruder
Or
Retraction distance is too far
