Even in the base (not director's cut) version?

Too bad about the horrible Monster Energy product placement. It totally ruined the game for me.
- Comment on Microsoft Confirms Plans To Release Xbox First Party Games “Across All Platforms”, Including PlayStation 10 months ago:
It's been tried multiple times and it just doesn't work. Physics (the speed of light) ultimately dictates latency. Streaming only works for a rather small subset of games that doesn't rely on reaction time or latency at all. And then only works for people who play those games a lot (you're not going to sub to a streaming game service if the majority of the games you want to play don't work on it). There's a reason Google Stadia died.

It's called fashion. Give it a decade, something else will become fashion.
- Comment on Power drunk mods 10 months ago:
Exactly. Shitty mods have been a thing since newsgroups, AOL chatrooms and good old internet forums. Probably BBSes too.
- Comment on European Union set to revise cookie law, admits cookie banners are annoying 10 months ago:
It depends on the country. GDPR is not a law. It's a framework that countries use to implement national laws. GDPR doesn't say anything about one-click rejection, but some countries added it to their national law.

No! I use the "Caps" key a hundred times a day! I have it mapped to output "Esc" though...

I would like to put my hat in the ring for Aliens: Fireteam Elite. It was recently free on Playstation Plus but I missed it by a single day. My wife has taken over the Playstation so I've been gaming on my laptop, and I forgot to keep up with the monthly games. I'd love to play it though!
- Comment on What Would You Like To See Improved in GNU/Linux? 10 months ago:
I have far too many windows open to display everything at once, even with my 3 widescreen monitors (the curse of being a developer). I usually need about 4-5 workspaces to organise everything. Sometimes more. Often there are also multiple windows arranged on a single screen (I use tiling, so windows never overlap). I know by heart which application is on what workspace and screen (because it's always the same). Because each workspace has a hotkey (Win + a numbered key) I can instantly pull up any window that I need, without searching for it.
- Comment on What Would You Like To See Improved in GNU/Linux? 11 months ago:
Multiple workspaces per monitor, like OSX has. Currently it's multiple monitors per workspace. So, switching workspaces switches all monitors instead of just the active one. Both Gnome and KDE get this wrong. Only esoteric WMs like i3 and awesome get it right, but they are not suitable for most people.

In the US, market share of Apple is between 50-60% while Android is between 40-50%, depending on the source. Worldwide is more in favour of Android, but this is a US lawsuit.
- Comment on Whats the difference between cheap and expensive modern TVs? 11 months ago:
Have you seen them side by side? The difference between backlit LCD and OLED is massive. It's a much greater jump in quality than going from 4k to 8k (which IMHO is barely noticable)

- Comment on Monthly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing? 11 months ago:
I'm playing DOOM: Eternal too, but I can't play it for just 30 minutes or so. I really need to finish a level in one sitting, or else I'm utterly confused when I jump back in. So for me I really need to set aside a solid 2 hours or more in order to play it.
- Comment on X sues Media Matters to silence moderation criticism 11 months ago:
According to the article there aren't any. That's why he filed in Texas. I do wonder how he can file in Texas if neither X nor Media Matters is located there. Diesn't that make it simple to file a motion to move the case to California and then use their anti-SLAPP laws?

- Comment on The Weekly 'What are you playing?' Discussion 1 year ago:
I picked up Diablo 3 a while ago but didn't really play until now. Finished the campaign, jumped to adventure mode, got my 6 piece set and I'm now grinding for ancients. I just finished a greater rigt lvl 100. It's fun so far but I should probably have started a seasonal character instead of a standard. But I'm too lazy to do it all again.

Ridge Racer was awesome and just so much better than the other racing games at the time. Especially when you put the camera just a few inch from the asphalt.

It's the same thing. AI is not some magic pixie dust.
- Comment on My new favourite password manager 1 year ago:
I think that vulnerability was a non-issue. Someone could get to your password if they had full access to your machine to run arbitrairy code. But if someone has that much access, it's already game over.
But yeah, Bitwarden is better IMHO
- Comment on The PlayStation 5 Slim is a Massive Rip-off 1 year ago:
It's really badly optimized. Every map has a copy of all dinos in the game, including those from other maps. This is because every map is a DLC. But you can transfer dinos from one map to another. And if you transfer a dino from a map I do not have, to a map I do have, then I still need to be able to see your dino.
