I just set it up last week, it works exceptionally well.
Did you also install podman-docker, make sure that the podman socket was running, and verify that the socket directory referenced in the config files was correct?
Those are the 3 things that I got a bit stuck on. In the end, I RTFM and all was well.
- Comment on Interview: Paul Wesley On Kirk’s Evolution Into ‘Strange New Worlds’ Season 3 And Readiness For His Own Series 8 months ago:
I'm sick of Kirk, I've seen TOS like 7 times and seen all the movies. I want something new. I'm 29 btw, grew up on Trek. My parents telling me about TNG actually made me cry because I was so happy there was more.
I'm also willing to admit that I actually skip TOS on rewatches because I'm so tired of it.

Kavita

Komga

Calibre-web

Audiobook shelf with ePub plugin
Those are the main ones I know about. I only use Kavita and I like it, but it's not perfect so you should try them all.

No, I find it ridiculous that you are recommending that others use such a woefully bloated method simply because you remember it taking 5 minutes and have used it for years.
I don't intend to change your mind, I intend to imply to others reading that this is a silly and bloated way to do it that most people shouldn't follow unless they actually require Bluestacks for something, such as app testing or to use an Android app that contains specific functionality not available on PC.
Also, I remember when NewPipe was ass, so it also took that dev a "really long time" to come up with a functional app. Not really sure what your point is other than to attempt to delegitimize a solution that is better than yours. :b

I've never had that issue with Piped or Invidious, though sometimes I've had a specific instance not load
However, I've had numerous issues with Bluestacks and it's a huge memory hog, not to mention it's overkill to install an entire OS just for 1 singular purpose that can be done just fine on your native OS.
It's a layer of abstraction that's almost entirely unnecessary except for 1 use case: watching YouTube without ads.

Why should I use an Android emulator to run an app on PC instead of the many browser front ends for YouTube?
- Comment on EBook Management 11 months ago:
I use Kavita. I edit the metadata in either Calibre, comictagger, or ComicRack (deprecated) first depending on whether it's a book or a comic.
You might also consider Komga, but I was never able to get it set up correctly on Windows so I can't directly compare the two.
- Comment on Is anyone selfhosting kavita? 11 months ago:
Yep, I love it. I use it for comics, manga, and epubs. It also connects to Tachiyomi and FBReader so I can read stuff on my tablet through the apps I prefer (though I've heard the built-in reader is good). The dev, Joe, is great too.

I've been using a mod to romance Jack as FemShep in ME3 and it seems to work fine if that changes anything for you for you.

I finally got around to playing the Mass Effect trilogy (the Legendary Edition remasters, anyway). It's excellent.
In 2011, I gave up on ME1 after getting to a very difficult combat encounter that I was not prepared for and having no other saves to go back to. I essentially rage-quit the trilogy for over 10 years, lol.
Still about halfway through ME3 but I am already planning my second playthrough. Truly a God-tier set of games, IMO.

It would be nice to have F-Droid and other app repos available on the Play Store. Or some other solution that puts alternative app sources on a more level playing field.

Yeah, their ads are a lot more aggressive than they used to be. I recently started watching SkyMed with my wife and it's nearly unbearable - and they want $5/month to get rid of them. At least cable didn't just play the same 6 ads over and over. :/

"Bullets are too precious to use on his own people," so he... constructs metal boxes that can fit people inside and uses vast amounts of energy to heat them instead.
How can anyone listen to her and take the conversation seriously?
