I have notes fairly sporadically all over the place. Some for work for compartmentalised projects that I won’t need to see again once the project is done. Then for personal creative projects. Then for personal research projects. I like tracking data for sure. I’d prefer to have one central place for everything. I like things organised and get very into organisation but I’d love some kind of AI organisation element. Not sure either of these do that though. I do have my own server and like self hosting. I do care about foss but will sometimes choose a more appropriate tool over a foss one. I need the data on my phone and accessible either on a cloud or syncable or something. I’m currently dipping my toe into Obsidian with syncthing/Dropbox. I won’t pay for any monthly fees but don’t mind paying one off payments.

This is really helpful, thank you. I’ve made a start with Logseq but I think I’ll try Obsidian and migrate my notes across. I’m definitely a structured guy.

I’m early onto my journey with this and tossing between logseq and obsidian. Thoughts?

And keeps the playback time updated on local files. It also manages surround downmix better than the internal app.

Yeah I only just noticed this too. I believe that’s the case.

Portainer has been good for me, what’s wrong with it?

It’s basically the same yeah. Our parents bought their first homes for a fraction of what they go for now. Extortionate rent, mortgage payments (if you manage to get property), bills, transport etc keep the young poor unless you were born wealthy enough to get a big leg up and/or inherit.

Yeah that makes sense. That’s helpful thank you. I finally got it working pretty simply last night. Thanks for the help!

Thanks, I tried this but same sitch
- Comment on Prowlarr VPN/proxy advice 1 year ago:
I wonder if I need to use a proper compose instead of the Portainer stacks function, so they’re all on the same network withing docker.
- Comment on Prowlarr VPN/proxy advice 1 year ago:
I tried flaresolver but still no connecty unfortunately.
- Comment on Prowlarr VPN/proxy advice 1 year ago:
Omg I was doing DNS wrong in the compose. Totally works now, thank you!
- Comment on Prowlarr VPN/proxy advice 1 year ago:
Sorry don’t quite follow. Are the arrs behind VPN on your setup? If I use Gluetun for Prowlarr then I can connect fine to the public trackers, but the information doesn’t pass to Sonarr etc. Which makes sense to me, but I don’t know how to work around it.
- Comment on Prowlarr VPN/proxy advice 1 year ago:
The trash guides say to avoid putting the arrs through VPN so I only put the torrent client through. Is that what you do?
- Comment on Prowlarr VPN/proxy advice 1 year ago:
I did try a custom DNS in the Prowlarr compose stack in Portainer but it didn’t help unfortunately. Do you do it a different way?
- Comment on Prowlarr VPN/proxy advice 1 year ago:
Thank you, I’ll have a look. I think I should be able to use the http proxy with my mullvad but I’m just struggling to find information I can follow. I’ll check flaresolver in the meantime.

Aren’t invidividuals expressing free speech in a private company the anti woke ones? Sounds like Nigel’s the snowflake in this scenario.
