The problem with vouchers is they can only be used in limited places. What we need is some kind of universal voucher that can be used anywhere to be exchanged for goods and services. On the other hand, my partner has just come out of hospital (last week) after a foot amputation and I have been very impressed by the level of support available, and the kindness of the people providing it. Maybe we lucked out in terms of postcode lottery or something, but the NHS can be absolutely amazing at times!
