- Comment on Lemmy is the best social media 4 months ago:
Lemmy is an improvement on Reddit, but imo not by much. There really is no innovation on the fundamental concept of subreddits/communities. The issue with Lemmy is that I’ve come across so many promising communities that quickly die off after the initial spurt of activity. I wonder if there is a better organic way to grow the “online discussion” from some form of general cespool, that can segementize only later when those needed segments (communities) emerge naturally.

You are supposed to ask stupid questions, but you actually can’t, because there are no stupid questions.

I assume you can chain teleport and thus move pretty fast. Seeing that a container is empty can be useful I imagine.
- Comment on Why is that on the internet, people assume you're a male from America, but if you're a vegan on the internet, people assume you're female? 1 year ago:
It’s because when you take small sample size of “people on the internet” you’ll get either completely random set of beliefs and assumptions, or you’ll get beliefs and assumptions that you’re prejudiced to project onto the wider sample.

Why would you be concerned about your body’s decreased ability to tolerate high levels of self poisoning? I have some vague idea why, but I’d like to hear someone formulate it into words.

Were those assault weapons as easily aquirable then as it is now?

It’s just a study done on a higher abstraction level. Like looking at CPU as a collection of logic gates instead of transistors. Or programming in C instead of assembly.

I don’t know - I haven’t gotten to automation yet. I’m currently in the “I’m new to this and everything is exciting” phase. I saw conveyors, but I have no idea how to effectively utilize them.

I played Plateup. I finally got my restaurant to day 15 and I’m starting to like this game more and more.
