- Comment on ‘Devastating blow’: Atlassian lays off 1,600 workers ahead of AI push 2 weeks ago:
I’ve had to use it in various forms for so long now and I can’t believe how unintuitive it is to use. Nothing outside of adding comments is obvious. I dared to try to see what was in a previous sprint and it basically requires a custom report. Why isn’t there just a view sprint dropdown or something? I did a quick search to see if it was just me which lead to the Jira subreddit (why is that a thing?) and felt like I was getting gaslit by all the jira ‘professionals’ calling it a skill issue

I have a Samsung frame because I wanted a TV that didn’t look so much like I had one, but the software is so goddam bad. The only way to switch sources quickly is to set them as a favorite which isn’t always that straight forward if you didn’t do it right away. Regardless you have to let the the home page fully render before you can even worry about that. Even the Samsung TV app which you would think would be perfectly optimized for the hardware since the same compare makes the software is barely functional and loads like a web page on AOL in 1998

I wonder if it depends on the phone. I remember seeing it a bunch which was super annoying when I was just using the aux in my car. My 2 year razr doesn’t seem to care if my ears bleed at all. I saw the message once when I got it and it never returned.
- Comment on The AI explosion isn't just hurting the prices of computers and consoles – it's coming for TVs and audio tech too 2 months ago:
Ha. judging by how well most of them run even today, not very much

I’ve had a few but would never pay that much. Especially after having one from McDonald’s in Maine awhile ago for like $10 that tasted exactly the same. I check every time I’m up there and it’s never been available again

Glad to see they have to pay up but what was different about this compared to the similar case that Meta won the other day?
