I was wondering about that, because I got a several over the course of a few days. I finally limited it to prohibit any lost password requests from unknown devices just to get it to stfu. I don’t even use IG anymore, anyway.

Several rows of bright light bars mounted on the wall, not sure if your landlord will allow that tho. A mirror could probably boost your plausible deniability.
- Comment on The Death of DeviantArt and the art-site shaped hole haunting the Internet -- Multi-hyphenate 3 days ago:
I deleted my dA gallery over a year ago. Not interested in feeding their AI with my works. It’s a shame, too, a few of my deviations made best all time under A:TLA characters’ keywords.
Their UI is cancer. Endless popups nagging you to get Core. Their messaging and chat functions are useless to everyone except scammers. And now, the search function, aka the last thing I found dA useful for (because of the massive amount of tutorials uploaded there) has been completely nerfed. Now if I’m looking for a specific tutorial, I have to go to duckduckgo and type in the keywords and site:deviantart.com to pull up actually relevant results.
The enshittification of DeviantART is complete.
I wish there were other widely used galleries to post on but alas, I’m confined to FurAffinity for now.

Guy who made death threats at me for having an avatar that looked like something furry-adjacent got a slap on the wrist and still has his account. I’ve been permanently banned for calling a Nazi a loser.

Not gonna hold my breath that this isn’t a self deleting spam account.
^(Disclaimer: not disagreeing with the content of the post, just that these accounts have been running rampant on this and other communities)

I’m not entirely sure. The best guess I have on that is, they’re pushing a narrative or shilling specific websites like nytimes (which all of these accounts I’ve seen so far have shared from very heavily).
Someone else mentioned it could be a person that got salty that they got banned from some communities and are having a shitfit making a bunch of accounts and deleting them before they get banned again.
- Comment on How open are you about yourself to others online in general? 1 week ago:
Depends where on the internet I’m in.
On here and when I was on reddit, I’m a bit more guarded and speak in broader terms in regards to family/friends/experiences so as not to pin too many identifiable specifics on me.
In another long forgotten corner of the internet that like at most 30 people congregate in, I’m a bit more open but not overly so.

As someone with a second hand Galaxy from seven years ago, yeah there’s not really much difference. Newer phones are slightly more annoying to use, actually.

I am AFAB - been wearing mens pants for years and I don’t have a problem fitting into them. Probably largely depends on body shape and even then, taking measurements and matching it to the correct size usually works out.
My crackpot conspiracy theory is that women’s pants pockets are smaller in order to force women to buy and use purses.

- Comment on Why Are New Appliances So Bad? [41:02] 5 weeks ago:
Our fridge is only 13 months old and failed 2 days before thanksgiving. It was like pulling teeth getting out warranty servicer to do something about it. Yesterday it was finally repaired. Defroster seized up somehow.
The fridge we had before this one was made in 1998 and it’s only failure was last year which was irreparable. Modern appliances are definitely less reliable.

It is apparently good at making animated media however its format is incompatible with many software media viewers.
It’s the bane of my existence when trying to save an image, but I am also exploring its uses in making animated backgrounds for graphical chat interfaces.
