- Comment on Cummins Diesel Cheats Emissions Tests - Fined $1.6B by US 2 months ago:
Seems like the plan right now is similar to Amazon and SpaceXs bet with the NLRB: throw up roadblocks, don’t cooperate, bet on Trump. It’s truly sad to watch.

Any link to the source of this photo? It’s interesting.
- Comment on How do I figure out a fair price for a used bike + accessories? 2 months ago:
Best advice I have is just give it to a local donation place and see if you can get a tax write off. Imo you’d spend more time than you’d make off the bike with bs offers, bots and the like. But what could be at most $50 bucks to you could be the difference in a job to someone else.

The absolute best is flying with weed inside Canada. Accidentally bought too much on your trip? Not a worry

I always thought the Triple XXX game was awesome as a kid.
- Comment on Bike Riders of lemmy, you okay with me riding my eScooter in the bike lane? 7 months ago:
I’m not in a major city but I absolutely believe you have full rights to use the bike lane, no questions asked. I would say you’re going far above and beyond by jumping off for a second and letting people pass.

- Comment on Uber: EU rules will see us pull out of “hundreds” of European cities — Brussels’ proposal to classify gig workers as de facto employees could slam the breaks on operations across the bloc 7 months ago:
“Since 2021 in the UK, Uber drivers are considered ‘workers’, which is not full employee status but does mean they receive sick pay and annual leave.
The firm has gone further than UK competitors including Ola and Bolt in worker benefits.
The number of drivers on the UK platform has doubled in recent years.”
Go fuck yourself uber.

I want to make a series about him. Start it off as a pure military action show, slowly make the transition over like he did. Suck people in with the action, y’know?

You should definitely look into it. A lot of the proof is Smedley Butler, an extremely interesting man.

- Comment on Some Tesla engineers secretly started designing a Cybertruck alternative because they 'hated' it 8 months ago:
I could’ve sworn Ford sold out in April. Also I love the idea of a Rivian, looks so good, but one of my customers has had one on order for so long it might as well be the cybertruck to him at this point.
- Comment on Some Tesla engineers secretly started designing a Cybertruck alternative because they 'hated' it 8 months ago:
Fingers crossed for Elon
- Comment on Some Tesla engineers secretly started designing a Cybertruck alternative because they 'hated' it 8 months ago:
I’d agree, if it was designed by somebody I respected. Than the lack of design could be perceived as a choice. As it is I think Elons a skillless dipshit and this is the only shape he could make on CAD software or some shit.
- Comment on [HN] Plans to cut speed limits ‘will significantly improve road safety' – minister 8 months ago:
Vehicle technology has done nothing but improve since those speed limits were initially created, I’d bet the bigger safety issue is texting and driving.
