I would simply use $250 million to buy replacements door hinges for the ones I can’t fix during that time. Easy peasy.
- Comment on Anti-AI communities might be helping AI 2 days ago:
Yeah, we shouldn’t let the AI companies get away with this. We should all start using AI to teach them a lesson!

- Comment on Did it really used to be common for guys to go to a bar every night like in Cheers or The Simpsons? 3 weeks ago:
Yeah, from a lot of the responses I’m seeing my ignorance on the matter. I’m in a big city so it’s probably very different.

Same
- Comment on When did people start saying "have a good rest of your day" 3 weeks ago:
“Have a good day” sounds too cliche to me., at least when I’m at work. It’s like saying “we apologize for the inconvenience” where it feels like an insincere, canned phrase.

Damn - I’m in Seattle and it’s rare to find $6 drafts anymore.

It depends on how much frog DNA they use when they clone them.

Use the fact that a set people corresponding to the real numbers are laying in a single line to prove that the real numbers are countable, thus throwing the mathematics community into chaos, and using this as a distraction to sabotage the trolley and save everybody.
- Comment on Why does information want to be free 1 month ago:
I think there are two meanings. One: morally, information should be free, because it’s very cheap and easy to provide information for free and it is beneficial to people to have it. Two: practically, it’s hard to keep information from being free, since giving it to somebody makes it hard to stop them from giving it to others (or restrict them, charge them, etc.).

This might just be me, but when this happens does anyone else have these weird existential thoughts during the head-rush, like “I am really alive right now” or “I’m going to remember this moment forever”?
