- Comment on What if Amish people immigrate into Europe. Would it help Europeans avoid the forced “digital transformation”? 11 months ago:
It’s also simply not true. While there’s a big push to book an appointment online and do smaller admin stuff yourself (requesting an ID and driving license), municipalities still have to allow people to book on the spot, or help them on the kiosks available. Actual efficiency depends on the friendliness of the administrative people in question I guess, but it’s absolutely still possible to not have to go online for it.
From the flemish website (…)Maar waar ze altijd welkom zijn op het gemeentehuis als ze dat wensen. aka: They’re always still welcome to visit public services in person if they prefer to do that.

When a fish bites your heel and it looks like an eel, that’s a moray!

Yeah, I grew up with cats, my mom grew up growing and repotting aloe vera. Only my last cat decided she actually likes to nom them. Figured out that they were toxic when I went on holiday and brought my cat over to them. She came back with a swollen mouth and chin. Aloe has been banished, every single plant got googled and cat-approved (or thrown out/banished to outside).

No, that’s another source of income.

Massive, won’t melt, won’t catch fire. Ceramic tiles would work just as well imho, though a tad lighter (which might actually be good, given the thickness of that shelf)

Feel free to leave it though! Mycology-noobs but still interested in what grows in the forest like me love to see stuff like this!
- Comment on The most remembered lesson from elementary school may very well be "Don't run with scissors!" 1 year ago:
Not in the curriculum, though a sister of a classmate actually fell while running with scissors. Permanently blind in one eye, and a lozenge as pupil. Indeed not something you forget easily.

They’re absolutely amazing. And pretty common nowadays. If a store has baking tuns and a baked-goods section, they probably have silicon baking sheets. Just make sure you get the thin, non-stretchy kind.

Maybe just search for better games then. There’s plenty of mobile games that don’t rely on gambling. Most are indie, but there are really some gems in there.

Silicon reusable sheet for almost similar cleaning, but eco-friendlier flex.

If it’s in a biodome, I’m sure they’d be thrilled to give you a bit more information if you mail them your question. Please report back with the reply!

So say I want a “.travel”, who actually makes and sells these? Is it a private company? A country? An independent entity who’s sole purpose it is to keep domains and the interwebs alive?
