Great, so now when it goes to uninstall a game it’ll just uninstall your entire system!

I’ve got no skin in the game, but watching this train wreck for the past decade+ has been deliciously entertaining.

They don’t have any scheduled now but there is an open house on 11/14/26. There is some uncertainty as to what will happen to the ship at the end of the year. It’s still owned by the US government and it could be scrapped if they can’t find an organization willing to take it over and run it as a museum ship.

Haha who knows how true it is, but it’s actually a table in the bar of the ship (it also carried passengers) that has an ashtray built into the center because, 60s. There was even an ashtray in the waiting room of the sickbay lol.

So much of it reminded me of Star Trek: the ship’s purpose was to show the peaceful use of atomic power so it would show up somewhere and host local dignitaries and ‘show the flag’. Very much reminded me of TNG in that respect too. The captain was also expected to entertain in his cabin.

What! This is great, loved this little gem of an adventure game!

Look I thought SNW was pretty good in the first 2 season, but whatever 3 and 4 have been is certainly not a ‘winning’ formula.

Man I need to pick this up sometime!

Keep us updated on how it goes! Another option might be a nice pair of astronomical binoculars to see if you want to invest more in the hobby. Also will helps you get a feel for the sky.

My first scope was a 10” Dobsonian with no special features. I feel like it was a great way to really get a feel for the hobby and teach yourself the fundamentals. I felt very connected to what I was doing since it was all stamps and manual control.

As someone who was all over AIM in the early 2000s and had some similar experiences, yeah that first one made me tear up too at the end.

To be honest though that really please my autistic brain. I used to make cities in Sim City 2000 the same way: a grid of blocks that I just kept going even when it ran up against obstacles and formed incomplete squares.
