- Comment on Steam games will now need to fully disclose kernel-level anti-cheat on store pages 3 weeks ago:
They do give a refund for this. I got it after they added it to EA Sports WRC. Explained to them that it was not in the original contract and that it prevents me using the product I licensed on Steam Deck and GNU/Linux and they refunded me.

Well and behind is is stealing other peoples’ work (posts and comments) and selling them as yours. The oldest capitalist criminal trick in the book: privatization AKA primitive accumulation AKA enclosure of the commons.
- Comment on Nine trillion dollar investment in 'Super-AI' isn't that much, says SoftBank CEO. 3 weeks ago:
Those sociopaths burning the planet and pumping out all the water are completely out of touch with reality. They would rather destroy the planet for some Annoying Idiocy .
- Comment on Microsoft just paused Windows 11 24H2 update for many PCs due to crashes and freezes 3 weeks ago:
Crashing is the smallest problem. All that sypware, ads and artificial idiocy they are embedding in the bloated excuse of an OS is way worse than any crash. I am so glad I switched to GNU/Linux (openSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma desktop, after seeing how well gaming works on Steam Deck I also switched to GNU/Linux for gaming) and it is so so much nicer to have an O that is fast, stable and actually respects basic human rights like privacy and freedom.

- Comment on Google accused of shadow campaigns redirecting antitrust scrutiny to Microsoft 3 weeks ago:
It takes one to know one. Not much difference, if any, between Microsoft nad Google, and the rest of GAFAM/BigTech.
- Comment on This week in KDE Apps 3 weeks ago:
You have to ask GTK/GNOME developers this. KDE developers go to great length to make their Plasma desktop and all interoperable and that applications made in other non-Qt GUI toolkits still look and behave as best as possible even under Plasma desktop. Looks like GNOME developers do not take care of this and so their interoperability under GNOME is so bad.
- Comment on Google creating an AI agent to use your PC on your behalf, says report | Same PR nightmare as Windows Recall 3 weeks ago:
These GAFAM/BigTech corporations really are in a tought and fierce competition of which one is the shittiest and most privacy-invading don’t they. Ensittification overdrive mode in all of them.

- Comment on Google is purging ad-blocking extension uBlock Origin from the Chrome Web Store 5 weeks ago:
Best to switch to Firefox anyways, or even better privacy enhanced LibreWolf
This project is a custom and independent version of Firefox, with the primary goals of privacy, security and user freedom. LibreWolf is designed to increase protection against tracking and fingerprinting techniques, while also including a few security improvements. This is achieved through our privacy and security oriented settings and patches. LibreWolf also aims to remove all the telemetry, data collection and annoyances, as well as disabling anti-freedom features like DRM.
- Comment on Removing Windows Recall breaks File Explorer in latest 24H2 update 5 weeks ago:
Best thing is to end the abusive relationship with Microsoft and Windows, remove their spyware/adware/bloatware from your computer and switch to GNU/Linux, a free and opensource operating system that actually respects users and theri basic human rights to privacy and freedom.

Or they just found out that Windows process scheduler is still broken beyond repair. If you look at the benchmarks on GNU/Linux performance is all there. For example see Phoronix benchmark

- Comment on Microsoft Ruined Windows 3 months ago:
Yeah I am so glad I switched to GNU/Linux years ago, Have to keep supporting closed OSes at work with our software and with each release they are just getting worse and worse, while GNU/Linux just keeps getting better.
- Comment on Fedora 42 Change Proposal Wants To Make KDE Plasma The Default Over GNOME 7 months ago:
That would be huge improvement. They could even make it look and act almost as restrictively as GNOME is since KDE Plasma is so flexible and configurable so it can easily mimic GNOME or any other desktop out there. And from there one they could slowly start unlocking the full power of KDE Plasma desktop.
- Comment on Google says Chrome can now protect you better while preserving your privacy 8 months ago:
Please could you stop spreading Google lies and propaganda. Instead of this please focus more on good news from GNU/Linux and libre and opensource in general. I have seen way too much GAFAM/BigTech/corporate lies and propaganda being spread here lately.

No wonder. all GAFAM is a spyware surveillance capitalism mafia and they work together. If you really want to THINK different you need to look into libre and opensource software like GNU/Linux and the likes.
