True. Either wah I personally download all my music in flac/mp3s so I can have exactly what I want regardless of which service its on or not.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
Well ideally nothing gets injected and you control your playlists yourself so you can choose high quality releases
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
YouTube Music has the biggest music catalogue since you can mix and match official and unofficial releases in your playlists.

I have not been quite satisfied with any of the self hosted streaming solutions or apps. There’s always an annoyance I have with all of them.
Just using MusicBee and syncing a subset of my library to my phone has worked the best. Syncing it using SyncThing.
- Comment on Help with music library setup 6 months ago:
I see the /s but you can always only sync a subset of your music.
- Comment on Help with music library setup 6 months ago:
This is what I do. I manage my music with MusicBee and sync a subset of the library to a folsee which is then synced with my phone.

Hmmmm. I’m not even complaining about that. Considering you can’t roleplay in a TV show, guess the writing can be potential.
Just trying to refute your points about the writing of the games. I understand why the TV show would be based on something that has mainstream appeal. That makes a lot of sense.

Well New Vegas was amazing, and not written BT Bethesda. 3 and 4 on the other hand were pretty weak regardless of how well they sold.

I don’t see how those games being less remembered discredits the fact they had solid writing and plot.
Popularity contest does not correlate with high quality.

Fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas are well known for high quality dialogue and plot. The Bethesda games on the other hand…

You can tell a shitpost is a shitpost when it is entirely wrong

I saw a YouTube clip explaining that they use a secondary drone to boost the signal to get around some of the jamming.
The game of cat and mouse continues.

Hopefully, it turns into an important memory for them.

- Comment on Why is Google allowed to remove purchases from our Play Store accounts without telling us? 10 months ago:
Of all the comparisons you could make, you compared it to a website you can buy the files, and download them DRM free?
This is the one example where you can actually keep the files even if the band deleted their account.

It would definitely be a solution for me. Two beers in and I’d be safer in a bus than behind the wheel.
Also, if you’re drunk as a skunk, all these outcomes are better for everyone than getting behind the wheel and messing up somebody else’s life.

You don’t have to shed a tear. But I find your take incredibly harsh on bands that are trying to start out and find their audience.
Eliminating low quality AI content is desirable for me as well, but nuking even more incentive for bands that are starting out is the wrong thing to do in IMHO

But then are you implying that those bands that are that unpopular are undeserving of getting paid even a little? Because they’re not a “real” band?

I kind of call bullshit on that take.
There’s definitely AI generated music that can surpass 1000 streams per year and many real bands that cannot.

It’s legal if it’s in the sales contract. Usually there is a timeframe.
You should look into Ferrari and their rules. They are even crazier than Tesla for things like this.
