Copyparty is very cool, but it also confuses me a bit. It keeps giving me 403 forbidden errors when I try to rename or move files on certain folders.
I’m pretty sure it’s a permission problem, because the root folder is read only but the folders inside have permissions per user, but I never figured it out.
I still use it daily, 5/7 perfect software.

For spooks, Phasmophobia is a good one. They do a Halloween event every year too 🎃👻

Yeah, I know. Until I get ransomware’d and my nudes leaked, I won’t care 💅🏻✨

No, my home server. My desktop and laptop both have arch, because I do interact with them more often.
- Comment on How often do you update software on your servers? 3 weeks ago:
If I wanted to run updates frequently I would run arch lmao. Even if I did apt update every day, debian stable doesn’t get that many updates.
I could just run auto-update but meh.
- Comment on How often do you update software on your servers? 3 weeks ago:
Well, one of the reasons I’m using debian in my server is so I can kinda forget about it… I’ll update maybe once a month, or every couple months. I don’t always restart though, so my kernel is probably a bit behind :'D

They did have a base building mechanic in diamond/pearl, if you can call a hole in the ground a “base”.

Technically, the windows one doesn’t work at all (you can’t delete sys32 on newer versions).
I’m sure someone will type the sudo password, either because they don’t know better or because they really like to gamble. Or be on ssh and not need to.

But can they use Nen?
- Comment on It's weird how we say "go to sleep" as if sleep is a place 4 months ago:
I don’t think so, it’s not like you have a monopoly of hunger or sleepiness. “Tener/to have” doesn’t mean to own.
In English you can say “I have feelings” but not “I have sadness”, because they don’t consider emotions to be “things”.

This may sound like heresy, but hear me out.
Moths don’t care about lamps; artificial lights just fuck with their sense of orientation.
In summary: they try to keep the reference light above them. Usually that’s the moon, and they flight straight. But for artificial lights the angle changes, and they spiral towards it.

Maybe I’m too poor or too young (or both), but I know exactly where everything in my home is. And if I don’t it’s because I’ve misplaced it, and the program isn’t going to help with that :(

I like Finamp, but one thing that comes to mind is if I try to reorder the tracks on the queue, it doesn’t work as expected. It moves different tracks instead, it’s very buggy.

From the issue you shared:
Thank you b4too - unless something new has been uncovered - which if so should be reported to us via our responsible disclosure policy - it is NOT possible to arbitrarily enumerate all media on a server without authentication, and saying as much is massive fear-mongering
- Comment on Suggestion request: Self-hosted app for shared directories like google drive 6 months ago:
Unfortunately that doesn’t seem possible, afaik. Although you could always create a zip file with a password, and share it with an open link (anyone with the link can download it, no need for account).
- Comment on Suggestion request: Self-hosted app for shared directories like google drive 6 months ago:
Maybe something like xbackbone? I’ve used it to share small-ish files and it works fine; I don’t know how much of a pain it would be to use for a group of people, but as long as everyone has an account they should be able to access files with a link.

I’m guessing that it notifies you before the cert expires, because I already have a great notification system for the server not working: I’ll always get a text from a friend within minutes asking why it’s not working :P

Fair point about removal; but if you’re being bombed, I think asbestos is going to be low on your list of worries.
