@mobileatom @lealternative Yes, Kbin is a wonderful project. While it's not quite as mature as Lemmy yet, it does have some features that improve the experience with microblogging or just being able to follow users and not just communities.
However for the Reddit user, Kbin is not an easy alternative and the learning curve would be much longer than for Lemmy.
That said, kudos to @ernest for the great job

@fisco1791 @lealternative Feddit is the more natural name. We chose it without knowing that a famous German instance had already existed for some years and, for some time now, there has also been a Danish one!
Still, the name Lemmy makes everyone understand that the Fediverse doesn't like marketing but passion... 😀
