Yeah, I wasn’t able to get through xiii, too linear. XII is nice, mostly linear with some bounty hunting stuff to keep it fresh.

Been playing FFXII international, been quite enjoying it so far.
- Comment on Dentists are pulling healthy and treatable teeth to profit from implants, experts warn 2 weeks ago:
I had a dentist in Canada tell me all my front teeth needed to be removed, implants for the top and dentures for the bottom. I was 27. I’m now 38, still have all of those teeth he’d said needed replacing. The next dentist I saw was absolutely floored when I told her what he’d advised me to do. And if he hadn’t been such a condescending asshole, just a little bit more understanding that not everyone can afford consistent dental care… well…I’d probably have gone and had him do it.

I remember hearing about them when they first started late research stages(like figuring out how to scale to mass manufacturing levels.)

Had to look it up, just fact check myself.
Pre-2021 the states that had no law prohibiting sexual acts with and animal were:- Hawaii
- New Mexico
- West Virginia
- Wyoming
Mid-2021 Hawaii and Wyoming decided maybe they should have something on the books about maybe fucking an animal is possibly something we don’t want happening round these parts.
Hawaii it’s now either a misdemeanor or felony, depending on severity. Not really sure if I want to explore what the mean by “severity.” Surely once should be past the line. Wyoming it’s just a misdemeanor…So I guess all you fuckin weirdos can move to New Mexico or West Virginia to carry on abusing animals.

Ehhhhhhh…if in the States…depends on which state you’re in, in some it’s illegal…others it’s fine 👍

- Comment on We lost Keanu 1 month ago:
Exactly, it’s just an “evolution” of the whole White Saviour bit they love so much.
On the flip side, there was an article on the BBC website around a year ago. Basically the article was explaining how archeologists had no idea how the ancient folk made Stonehenge so accurately plumb and level, and how they’ve been experimenting for aaaages trying to figure it out…
Now, I’m a stonemason. And I can tell you exactly what they probably did, but the Big Brain people don’t like to ask people who work trades. (Or maybe they are just asking the wrong ones)
If you have figured out rope or string, and you have access to wood and a few stones, then it’s incredibly easy to level off an area, to make an accurate circle, and to make the tops of all the standing stones level and the uprights plumb.A basic plumb-bob is incredibly easy to make, in this instance we would use as straight a piece of wood as we can find, a length of rope tied to the middle of it, with a stone tied to the other end. For the uprights, get straight logs as long as each stone going into the ground. Now we have our standing stone analogues, and a plumb-bob. Dig the holes for the uprights, plop the logs down in the hole, if the plumb-bob isn’t pointing straight down between the two logs, one side has to go down.
There, mystery solved. Thanks for coming to my TEDtalk.

Some users just need to be able to exit my home network.
I would like to, maybe, in the future have a file server/jellyfin, have access to other devices on my network and if I’m somewhere with low enough latency stream games off steam.Just wanted to say, thanks for asking me for further details. You could have been a dick about my unclear initial post, and I appreciate your just picking away at it until I was a bit more specific about what I was actually asking for.

shrugs idk what to say. Google can fist themselves with a handful of rusty nails and broken glass if they think popping up tos or someone just being on the site is accepting it even if it’s not shown. I wasn’t arguing against your point. Just that the last time I went to YT with a fresh browser I was shown a ToS. That was easily two years ago, so maybe I should have just kept my…mouth? Uhhh…fingers? Shut…I’ll fuck off now. Sorry

I mean, when I goto Google or YouTube signed out, and without an ad blocker/tracking auto reject I get a pop up with their short ToS, every time.

Good point, not sure that economists are human enough to take sense into account, but I think we should try and make it a thing.
- Comment on The air begins to leak out of the overinflated AI bubble 2 months ago:
Also bubbles don’t “leak”.
I mean, sometimes they kinda do? They either pop or slowly deflate, I’d say slow deflation could be argued to be caused by a leak.
