@mariap
Is this vulnerability fixed in today's latest Snap 4147.41?Snap doesn't list this in the changelog.
I hope Snap includes all the latest security updates by default... but the better question is: is that true?If the description CVE says:
Google Chrome versions prior to 152.0.7977.82 are affected. The issue was addressed in the stable channel update released on September 2026. Systems running earlier versions should update to 152.0.7977.82 or a later patch.And in the flags I see a version 152.0.7977.112, so everything is fine, this browser is patched and secure, right?

Here are two screenshots from this website, stitched together. The top: panel is hidden, the bottom: one is shown. The arrows indicate the horizontal scroller of the web page. As you can see, it's higher than it should be. This is the case on all pages. When the bottom panel is hidden while scrolling, a dark trace, an empty strip, appears. Its color depends on the page background. The ReaderView extension is from GitHub and the Chrome Store, this is foss.
https://github.com/rNeomy/reader-viewWhen I tried to take screenshots, I disabled extensions because otherwise I couldn't load the page with its ad agreement. Then I enabled them (uBOL) and did the same. There are too many ads. This bug exists in both cases.

Good. But there's still one bug I mentioned earlier. When scrolling up a page and hiding panels, a blank strip appears at the bottom. The TWP extension and its popup window take this into account. The ReaderView extension displays this strip wider than on regular web pages.

Conclusion: this bug is intermittent, but it's there. Now it's back, I restarted the browser, and it's gone. If it might be related to flags; here's my list of changes.The bug may be related to the keyboard and the saved data entry panel. It shouldn't show up in a forum search, should it? And now the bug is visible again.
I can confidently reproduce this bug! I launch the browser, UI zoom doesn't matter. The bug isn't visible yet. I load this page, tap the forum search, and the keyboard displays the save data entry panel, even though it shouldn't. I remove the keyboard — the bug persists, I scroll down the page. When I restart the browser the bug disappears.
The bug is somehow related to text fields and entering saved data.
This is reproduced by xdaforum too. And in search flags (chrome://flags) as trigger.
All autofill options in my browser settings are disabled.
Perhaps disabling "Show keyboard accessory view" in Settings helps hide this bug - no, not helps.
