definitely lore-heavy, but also a great introduction to every character–movie makers want everyone, including non trekkies, to enjoy the film. most 1 hour episodes focus on maybe 2 or 3 characters. and they’re pretty lore heavy also

do movies count? i would go with wrath of khan and then part 4 – i feel like if someone enjoys those 2 then they’d want to start at the beginning and go through all of it
- Comment on When did Windows start going downhill? 6 days ago:
MS started making bonehead decisions with windows ME, which was an unmitigated disaster. but at least they made some mostly functional and relatively stable OS’s after that. but since forcing win11 on everyone and then the constant AI bullshit, it’s been nothing but a constant stream of bullshit from them with no end in sight.
they way overestimated the “loyalty” of decades-long users they’ve been pissing off for years and years. i switched to linux in 2025 after using MS since the 90s, starting with the OG MS-DOS command line
fuck microsoft, fuck windows, and fuck AI

this whole project seems smoldering due to rockstar fuckups. is there a pool on when it turns into a full-blown dumpster fire?

trump: “we’re having a very successful negotiation!!!”
iran: “no we’re not. open wide, bombs coming 4 u”
trump stomping feet: “wAaAaAaA”
