- Comment on Conservatism considered as a movement of bitter rubes 1 day ago:
It depends on what you consider conservatism. At its core, it means to conserve the values and traditions of a nation or people and, if applicable, a country. Most of the time, as it is understood, it means the ways we have done it and is often, but not always, tied to religion. If we consider that, the people you listed would be considered reactionaries, not necessarily conservatives. This is why we can, for example, have Leftist Conservatives. But if we simply consider conservatism as whatever people say they want to conserve or as a reactionary thing, the same desire to conserve can bind these groups to what many people may consider conservative.
P.S. Sorry for the late response. My finals are soon on the 15th and I have swamped in schoolwork.

Fair enough. I am just listing it for those who do care. Proton’s services are legitimately very good.

I do not personally believe them. I am simply saying IF we are to take them at their word…

I do not particularly push my morals on others if others do not push their morals on me. And if they do, I still will not push my morals on them, but I will defend my moral-system unless someone gives me a valid reason backed up by neutral data to show me why I am wrong. Being open to change and hearing others out is an important thing.

Or… if it is truly about child safety and is not about building the surveillance-state, we can do one of two things:
1): Hold the parents responsible for allowing their children view NSFW and encourage them to use a network appliance like Firewalla to manage all devices from one place and to block all websites, downloads, and internet by default with a whitelist on the Firewalla mobile application to authorise specific things. That is the first and least invasive child safety mechanism that does not risk normalising or enabling the surveillance-state.
2): Make NSFW posted on specific websites, make people who post NSFW content SPECIFICALLY give their ID to the government for a permit that the government shall grant and companies check for validity, and allow people to apply for an NSFW permit that the government shall grant after an agreed upon age for companies to check for validity.
Edited to add Firewalla as a suggestion.

This is one of the best explanations of conservatism I have seen to date.

My religion does not convert others. We heavily discourage conversion.

Just because most American presidents and most Prime Ministers currently exploits or exploited the environment and the people does not mean we should continue this culture of abuse. Portraying it as such when roughly half of these countries votes for right-wing leaders will do us no good. Conservationalism needs to be a bipartisan initiative where we tell EVERYONE that doing these things are simply unacceptable. If it stays partisan, it will keep being an endless fight to stop this exploitation as the right continues to believe it ‘is a leftist thing’ because that is all they are told. Are you not sick of this pointless division between the left and the right? What happened to good against bad? We should be working together to stop the bad actions of these mega-corporations and politicians that gets rich off of blood money. There was a time during Theodore Roosevelt when we both were united against such corruption. Antitrust and conservationalism. If we keep destroying Earth, it may one day no longer be livable. The real problem are these mega-corporations and governments destroying what should be preserved and this should not be controversial to say, even though, sadly, it is.
Edited for better accuracy.

I will say what I told someone else:
I am a conservationalist AND a conservative. Conservationalism can be a part of conservatism, which means to conserve. The principle is simple: We cannot use the land if we destroy the land and He commanded us to shepherd His world, not destroy it.
That should help to clear up any confusion.

Seems fun! I LOVE Linux. I personally use Linux Mint. I also like gaming, listening to music, and watching older wrestling. What is your favourite music genre and what is numerology?

Correct. Groypers are a subbranch of Nazism that has captured a lot of the youth which is why I made an emphasise on it, but still correct nonetheless.
Edited because I made a spelling error.

Followers of Nick Fuentes. He is a far-right social media influencer. He said things like Hitler was right, the wrong side won, and that far fewer died in the Holocaust.
Edited for accuracy.

Yeah. It is unfortunately true. Fascists, Nazis, Groypers, and the likes are not welcome here. Anyways, do you want to introduce yourself?
Edited to say who is not welcome here.
