That’s been a common theory for many years but it’s between “eeeh, maybe” and debunked.
Here’s a tip: don’t publicly theorise about things that you have close to no knowledge about. This shouldn’t have to be said.

Damn, that sucks. Always such a disappointment when odd shit like this happens out of nowhere. At least you’ll be able to pay less for it and have all the bug fixes and other new stuff that’s still coming once you’ll be able to play it!

Dune: Awakening (single-player)

Been wanting to play the game since it released but have no interest in PvP at all. Almost got it a few times before just because I wanted to play it but held off until now.
The patience here is more "waiting to see if they add a single-player feature and then once that was announced waiting for it to release.

About 30 hours in and I’m surprised by how good it is and having a blast with all parts of the game. The combat just keeps getting better and the survival aspects are great (which is rare IMO) with the sun and sand worms being a constant factor that shapes how you play. The Holtzman shields work very well for a game too, both for yourself and on enemies. You need to be smart and pick off unshielded enemies first then lure out one or a few shielded ones to handle in melee, doing fast hits or using skills (like voice stuff) to stund them so you can get that slow hit in that gets through the shield.
Exploration is fun with many options for all parts of it. You can climb almost everything like many other games like this but there are several cool gadgets too. A grapple hook that feels great, a category of devices that affect gravity in different ways, like decreasing it which allows you to jump higher and further, floating, fall slowing etc. but not all at once, you pick one which fits your playstyle.
The vehicles feel good and I like the systems for each part having their own health bars, and there are several different additions like storage, boosters, scanners, mining equipment but you can only have one on at a time (at least for the tiers I’m at).
Crafting, building and resource collection is fun too, overall a very well designed game.

I always like what I’ve seen of this game but have zero interest in PvP, so I’d definitely check it out if this becomes a thing.

The single-player (and lots more) update to Dune: Awakening released a few days ago, been wanting to try the game for a while but have no interest in multiplayer so had to wait for this. Started playing yesterday and it’s really fun so far! It’s certainly not a superb game but not bad either. Hopefully it stays interesting and fun.

Love that game, the audio design is so special and memorable. Axiom Verge 2 was only ok IMO, doesn’t really have that spark the first has.

I’m disappointed there’s not a duck on each rack.

How is management screwed because of that?

It’s really fucking sad that Pizza hut is seen and remembered in any positive way in the US, it really shows how fucking bad you have it.
A pizze hut opened in my city here in Sweden about two decades ago and it immediately became “ooh, this american thing everyone has heard of through movies is so bad that everyone has to go to it just to experience the unimaginable shit quality and taste.”
Even the cheapest street corner pizzerias we have are in a whole other universe comparably.

I hate this “IT’S STILL A PLANET TO ME!” thing. How does our definition of made up words matter? Pluto is still Pluto, how we categorise stuff doesn’t change that. We needed a better way to define things and needed to make that without having to keep all the celestial objects in our solar system defined as they were before.
