I’m bloody happy to have an EV
- Comment on Cheaper EVs, easier job access: What's in the EU-Australia free trade deal for you? 1 week ago:
I have solar at home, with Australian made panels and stuff
They were more expensive, but I wanted to support local industry and have a warranty worth something
- Comment on Cheaper EVs, easier job access: What's in the EU-Australia free trade deal for you? 1 week ago:
A few of the bogans I work with (I’m in a small spot in Tasmania) have asked me if I’m feeling pleased with myself for buying an EV
The local petrol stations have been emptied by people panic-buying
I have thoroughly enjoyed saying “yes, yes I am”

If you want to be taken seriously, don’t just link the first thing you see
Especially if it’s from a bunch of religious dipshits.
There are opinions, and then there are qualified opinions
Maybe I’m showing my age, but you really put in the minimum of effort by your own admission, and obviously didn’t read the article to which you linked
I don’t think you’re stupid
I think you’re lazy.
- Comment on Human experimentation, one way or the other. 2 weeks ago:
A bullshit religious outfit?
Fuck off with that crap.
That has all the credibility of one of Trump’s crayon drawings
- Comment on I am an American. I used to be proud of my country. Now it feels like a turd circling the drain. Is there anything going on behind the scene that America is actually doing good in? 2 weeks ago:
Why would you be proud to be American?
It was founded on cruelty, and never improved.
The civilised world has always sneered at the US, and for good reason
- Comment on Human experimentation, one way or the other. 2 weeks ago:
Sadly, the stupid tend to breed prolifically, and anti-vax idiots often have a gaggle of spawn, and are keen to whelp more litters as the others die from perfectly preventable diseases

I despise “tech bros” at the best of times
There are too many halfwits with solutions desperately searching for a problem
The fact that him sniffing his own farts was his undoing makes me incredibly happy

It’s crazy how little I value your opinion
- Comment on Digg’s open beta shuts down after just two months, blaming AI bot spam 3 weeks ago:
I had interactions with a few, and they were very much the typical, stupid, bigoted yank
- Comment on Digg’s open beta shuts down after just two months, blaming AI bot spam 3 weeks ago:
Their tolerance of racism and bigotry was why I left
It seemed like every shitty person wanted to make it a far-right safe place
I’m glad it failed
- Comment on Digg Shut Down 3 weeks ago:
It was so shit anyway
The amount of racism and bigotry that was tolerated was fucking wild
It seemed like every disgusting person there wanted to turn it into some right-wing safe haven
The bitching about reddit being “leftist” was hilarious
Reddit is definitely not leftist at all, but they’re so far right (and determined to be victims) that they have no clue what they are talking about

I’m no fan of what the police did,
But you go off. Maybe you’d like a try soap, or working on your reading comprehension
- Comment on An 18-year-old woman in Queensland faces two years in jail for wearing a shirt that says "from the river to the sea." 3 weeks ago:
I take issue with the way this is being presented
She was cautioned, so no criminal conviction or anything, let alone two years in jail
To pretend that Australia is anything like the US is disingenuous. There are people who want everyone to give up protesting, framing things like this doesn’t help
I’m grateful to live in Australia (admittedly, I’m not fond of Queensland, where this article is from as it’s our version of Florida) rather than the hellscape that is 'Murica
- Comment on Why is the USA attacking Iran? 4 weeks ago:
I didn’t say that it was staged
Capitalising on a problem is much easier than creating one
But I think you already know that and are being disingenuous
Or, you’re stupid
- Comment on Why is the USA attacking Iran? 4 weeks ago:
Riots that were encouraged by US actors in the region to destabilise and give this excuse
It’s an old play by the yanks, but it has worked more than once
- Comment on Why is the USA attacking Iran? 4 weeks ago:
Israel has some real, incontrovertible dirt on Trump that they are holding over him
He’s also desperate to have the US at war so he can suspend elections, because he knows that he will be hurt by the midterms
He’s also pathetically insecure, and history has traditionally looked back fondly at wartime leaders like Churchill and the like. He’s hoping for that
And the worst motivation, but one that I sincerely believe is accurate, is that he wants to use nuclear weapons. He wants to be remembered as a president who pushed the button. He’s a child, and he wants to play with all the toys
I hope he dies before he can do more harm
- Comment on Supporting ‘illegal aggression’ against Iran ‘the worst thing’ Australia could do, international law experts say 4 weeks ago:
I’m extremely disappointed, but not surprised that the Australian government has toed this line
I like Albo, but he has shown that his first priority is to keep the powerful players happy, rather than telling them to fuck off
New Zealand was always good for staying strong, but under that revolting cunt Luxon, I don’t know what will happen
