Don’t 3D printed guns have normal parts except for the slide and handle which are 3D printed?

Where is this from?
- Comment on Americans are destroying Flock surveillance cameras | TechCrunch 1 week ago:
Yes, I agree very much with your statement. I think our lives would be much better if our government was built like an open source project lol

It’s a huge stretch. Most of the people buying these glasses are just interested in technology, see this cool new thing, and are ignorant to privacy because they already use social media and whatnot. Creeps use phones to take underskirt pictures of girls too, so are you going to go around calling every phone owner a creep? People like you who see ignorant “normies” as malicious enemies are what’s wrong with the privacy community. Like I said earlier, we should educate, not name call.

Can we not call everyone we don’t like pedophiles? It lowers the impact of the word when it’s used against an actual pedo.

I agree that the more popular opinion is changing to more freedom, but most of the older millennials and above that I’ve talked to care more about catching criminals because they are more likely to be influenced by Facebook/Nextdoor posts and the mainstream media.

PRC? Sorry looking it up didn’t give me a good result.
- Comment on Americans are destroying Flock surveillance cameras | TechCrunch 1 week ago:
Sadly some people do want flock cameras because they think it’s worth it to have a better chance of catching criminals even if our personal liberties get taken away. It’s the age old freedom vs safety discussion.

I’m saying that the big corporations have such a strong foothold that I personally don’t think we will ever be able to properly regulate them when they can pay off all of the politicians. I’m not trying to be a doomer, those are just my beliefs.

I agree. I don’t think screen time limits are adequate.

Alright I understand your perspective now and agree.

Then the big companies will just operate under multiple names to commit tax evasion like they already do and pay off the politicians to let them.

You don’t need to know how to use social media to set up the Apple parental controls that put time restrictions on certain apps.
- Comment on Meta’s own research found parental supervision doesn’t really help curb teens’ compulsive social media use 2 weeks ago:
I don’t understand how it correlates. The article isn’t saying that children of parents who use social media are more likely to be addicted to social media, it’s saying that parental controls aren’t helping stop social media addiction in children. So how does that smoker analogy make sense?
- Comment on Meta’s own research found parental supervision doesn’t really help curb teens’ compulsive social media use 2 weeks ago:
That analogy makes no sense for this situation.
- Comment on If you had any doubts that Know-Your-Customer laws were evil, here is one very good reason: personal data of 1 BILLION people just leaked. 2 weeks ago:
Ok but how would that even work? When a company’s product/service is good, then people start recommending it to others and more and more people start using it. The only way to stop companies from growing big is to force them to stop accepting customers after a certain point.

Any of the privacy related ones. It’s a very important topic to me so I like to read about it and discuss with like minded people.
- Comment on Google criticizes Europe's plan to adopt free software 3 weeks ago:
Google trying to scare Europe into giving them money and power back in their region 😥 Stfu and let Europe get their individuality and contribute to open source projects which will help Americans like me much more than any amount of money given to Google.
