What isn’t psychosomatic when the target is the average fucking moron?
… I mean, besides all the things that turn out to be real… but morons will believe anything up to and including their mumbling jibberish is a connection to God with glossolalia…

It’s the HOA Karens that run politics, so you do the math on how well that’d work out.

and what happens when a mod or admin abuses their power? If the answer is only people whine about it, all you have is a minor step in the right direction and not an actual solution.

Because this is hardly a contentious discussion or topic, and something doesn’t have to be a guarantee to never the less be a trend..?

I think we should test this theory a little more.

Nah, the complaints get deleted faster than the wrong-think. The point is you aren’t given enough to ’notice’ when the hammer comes down as it does in many communities here.

No, you are. You are just in denial about it.

You’re doing so much projection here it’s genuinely sad.

They did. Why are you tone policing? You’re doing exactly what they’re saying is bad…
- Comment on The same people who rage against authority love moderating communities where their ideology is the only one allowed 1 week ago:
How do you see overly heavy opinion based moderation if you’re never the target of it? You don’t. You just see communities that are weirdly same-think. Though I bet you’d jist dismiss it as a consequence of the fediverse already self-selecting for a certain type, but that is wrong.
There is bad moderation all over the place, but you don’t see it, because many mods/admins prefer to ban and delete than to let the vote system do its job.

Anarchism is not about zero enforcement of rules. Especially wise ones like don’t dittle kids…

Enforcing regulation and enforcing one’s own personal views are two different tbings. This entire convo is supposed to focus on the latter, not confuse them with each other.

It’s often actually important to not go too crazy for ‘just’ day to day cardio. So that actually helps normally.
Unless you’re trying to specifically improve cardio, like a runner trying to improve times, mellow cardio is what you want. If you are trying to improve cardio, then definitely mind on the game doing something like intervals!
Absent minded intense cardio is how you get heart attacks.

Yea, it’s a meme. Though sadly a lot of people I run into unironically think the meme is the best solution.
Until knowledge becomes laughably common, I’m going to try to spread what is best. Especially when the better option is way cheaper.

Stretch. If you don’t know how, look up yoga routines, and make sure not to force yourself into any positions you cannot easily reach. Until you’re more experienced with pushing against your body’s limits, it’s pretty easy to hurt yourself forcing things.
- Comment on It's literally science 1 week ago:
Nah, OP is just being elitist trying to justify those purchases.
The real answer is posture and lack of streching and exercize. Unless you have an underlying issue like scoliosis, stretching and exercize fix 90% of the aches and pains young people whine about with “getting old” in their 30’s.
- Comment on It's literally science 1 week ago:
That’s the best part about cardio. You can do so many other things while doing it. … OK well, not lots of different things, but once you’re past the hell of getting into a shape, you kindof just zone out into the music/podcast/video/what ever and huffpuff away for a while while entertained.
If you go to a gym, some even have theatre rooms filled with treadmills/etc and a movie playing.

You’re still making far too many assumptions. Most of the truly stupid ones do not know who is in the Epstein files, except maybe Bill Gates and Clinton.
Why? Because their pathetic level of media consumption of Fox and Newsmax only tell them the ‘enemies’ who are in there.
Also nowhere did I say they are wholly innocent. Ignorance to such a degree should be a crime itself, and the people who intentionally keep them that way should be guilty of far worse.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 week ago:
No. Literally, some are just fucking stupid being swayed by peopaganda and a lack of insight on what’s actually happening.
When everyone is out to find enemies, the last thing you should want is to appear just as bull-headed and judgemental as the Nazis trying to paint entire other groups as bad.
To other ignorant morons that aren’t supporting MAGA, you make it harder to distinguish who the good guys are when you are doing just as much guilt by association.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 week ago:
Oh I’m not. It was two things:
A joke to call them fucking stupid, which they are.
A plea to not use the same exact logic a fucking stupid person does. When the Paradox of Tolerance is in full swing, the last thing you want to do is appear to be no different than a Nazi in blanket judgement to a dumbass third party.
There is a reason there were Nuremberg trials and not just mass executions of Nazis.

Not that I’ve noticed. It’s a 1060 vs an old Intel integrated, so I’d hope I’d immediately notice a game running like sludge, although I’ve been staying away from truly demanding ones on it.
Only thing that’s annoying is the USB4 dock crashes the laptop if I unplug it, but my limited research on that is pointing at a Wayland bug, something about a display’s frame buffer disappearing.
- Comment on Is spreading. 1 week ago:
Use a distro that has automated install of the drivers. MX Linux was just running a provided program (that ran in a terminal but eh) and rebooting, and off I went gaming. I think some of the other gaming-specific distros can also install them for you.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 week ago:
They’re going to do that with or without an existing reason.
