For your experience to be a happy one, the experience is not primarily reliant on what is being experienced being something which brings happiness to you, it is the you, which is experiencing, that needs to be of happiness.

I don’t like how AI is developing, I don’t support state surveillance on the general population and I want China to be better in many aspects but this is typical anti-communist drivel. All the buzzwords and usual terminology such as: CCP, authoritarian, calling the west democratic states, indirectly labelling Tibet and Xinijiang as seperate countries.

Yep, with the capitalist class as the ruling class and a lack of revolutionary action, this won’t change.

As the capitalists are merely acting within their percieved class interests here, the only chance for this to change, aside from the obvious socialist revolution, is to pressure them as an organised working class to do so.

Where we were at as a country 15 years ago when it came to homophobia is approximatelynwhere we are at today with transphobia in my opinion. It is far too normalised, I’ll hear people joke about a friend of a friend of a friend being a ‘they/them thing’ same way I would hear about someone being a ‘bender’ back when I was still in primary school.
