  The problem is is Gene Roddenberry Is not who made star trek what it is. You need DC Fontaine and Gene Coon and for TNG you need Ronald D Moore and Michael Pillar and to some extent Rick Berman for putting the limitations on those writers to drive creativity.

  The problem is people don’t realize, like with Batman. Bob Kane had a good idea but it was really Bill Finger that really made Batman what we know today.

  Just like with Bob, Gene Roddenberry knew how to take credit for others work and create the myth of one man doing it all.

  They should call it what it is, Offshoring and I remember what happened the last time they did that the quality was so bad most companies eventually and quietly brought the jobs back. AI will be the same thing once they can’t help but admit Scam Altman took them for a ride at everyone’s expense.

  Yeah this is more investors being stupid. Hell this would be impact VFX and Architects but the logic they are using. The whole thing is a cool demo but little real world application like like with most genAI.

  I don’t think windows is an OS anymore. It just the personification of the checkout questions they ask you at GameStop or BestBuy about the extended warranty or magazine subscription.
