Y’all are gonna end up with a Pizza Gate situation. We need real leaders who will hire and effective DOJ to investigate and charge the monsters in a timely but just manner. We need a new viable party.

- Comment on Is school cafeteria food in America trash? 3 days ago:
My teenaged kid’s school has free lunch for all students. I often offer to pack a lunch for my kid, but they decline. If they don’t want me to, I won’t, and I like that my kid taking a lunch defuses the stigma of “poor” kids taking a free lunch.
Broadly, there is a lot of food insecurity, especially in big cities, so cafeteria food may be the only meal some kids get. In the US, many school districts also send home backpacks stuffed with nonperishable food for the holiday breaks, and summer lunch programs are offered. The decision to close school for inclement weather also involves deciding if some kids wont get to eat that day. So fortunate is my family that we dont have to worry about that.

What OP said isnt at all like that.
This meme says that if the US alone stopped with its fuckery the world would be a utopia.
OP is saying a utopia isnt possible without ending all superpower fuckery.
OP is not saying the US stopping its fuckery is bad or unhelpful.

But dude, the museum thing is rad. Also fishing – look at the water and learn the cfs and temp. Look at the fish you caught and get species and measurements. Or field dressing a deer or putting a part on a car – where you need to cut or bolt is highlighted.
I want all of the people/personal info stuff left out, but i still want all of the practical shit.

There was a guy in Texas who thought a big tobacco company would settle out without showing, but instead he got counter sued to the tune of millions. That man? Rusty Shackleford.
There’s a good documentary about it.
- Comment on I would rather live in a "class system" than a "caste system" 2 weeks ago:
I think even in Western systems, you’ll run into “new money”/ “old money” classifications that will pretty much stick with you for life, unless you’re a billionaire. People suck, and society is lobsters in a bucket.
Full disclosure, I’m closer to “no money” than either “new money” or “old money” so ymmv.

It’s really strange. I believe war is bad and the ends don’t justify the means, but the Iranian regime needs to be replaced. Both are true at the same time. There must have been a way to affect that change without violence, but I don’t know what that way is.
Trump is terrible, but that doesn’t make the Ayatollah good.
Now I’m rambling.

One line of detergent, one line of color safe bleach, cold cycle, extra rinse. Everyone in the pool together. All of my outer clothes (flannels, dress shirts, pants, polos) get air dried. Everything else is tumble dry low.
I don’t think I own anything white except my socks, and I dont give a shit about those.

- Comment on No lowballs, please. I know what I have. 4 weeks ago:
We just took the bag of garbage out and used the bathroom trashcan for stomach bugs. It’s small, can be moved right next to the bed, and wont ever hold anything not gross (unless you move – and then it’ll probably hold your sponges, brushes and cleaners). Also, in our house, everybody was expected to try to make it to the toilet, including kids. You start puking, you get ushered to the toilet with the trashcan held below you.
All of this makes sense because norovirus is super contagious.

Maybe… I guess Id rather see a law that makes it illegal to stop someone from gathering or donating discarded food. I dont want a restaurant or grocery store to have to fuck around with record keeping and shit. I just want them to have to allow someone to do the right thing if it’s not going to be them doing the right thing.

The old kenwood car cd players had an “att” button that instantly dropped the volume to background noise. It was fucking awesome and I used it all the time. I want that button on everything that makes noise.
