- Comment on Is £70 becoming harder to justify? The rise of cheaper blockbuster games 2 weeks ago:
Or at least a discounted buggy piece of shit game that might be worth trying, they don’t fix most of those nowadays. Although sailing the high seas would probably the best course of action for such games.

Yes, among other things.

Trails in The Sky are so good. The franchise lost me mid-Cold Steel, unfortunately it became something else and I wasn’t the target audience.

I started SKALD: Against the Black Priory yesterday and I’m just about an hour in, but so far it seems to be a pretty fun CRPG.
- Comment on Steam winter sale is live. What patient games are you picking up? 2 months ago:
I bought a bunch of discounted CRPGs on Steam and GOG last month, I don’t want to buy anything this time. Let’s see if I can resist…

I played it at launch for about 60 hours, haven’t touched it since. I started using reddit to participate in its subreddit in 2016, the hype this game created was crazy.

I still have to play Fabio Rebirth, but I can’t find the strength. Playing Fabio Remake Intergrade was such a painful experience for me, every single interaction is delayed to make the game longer, and I didn’t really like the combat system. I ended up playing it on the easiest difficulty just to see how they
butcheredchanged the story. Ironically the only part I found enjoyable was the Yuffie DLC. I might play Rebirth in 2026, my cousin will probably keep pestering me until I do it.
