my two vices are weed and alcohol, i used to be way more addicted to alcohol, now it’s the other way around. pretty good deal if you ask me, alcohol withdrawal is WAY worse than cannabis withdrawal. I actually don’t feel bad when going off the ganja, it gets easier to focus, I think much more clearly, and it’s a lot easier to stay productive.

i just can’t give up the ganja. actually i have no choice but to give it up now because i’m poor as fuck, and also, i just got over a manic episode, so my dad watches my money like a hawk to make sure i don’t go on any wild spending sprees. that also means no cash withdrawals (my dad isn’t stupid, he knew i was only taking cash out of the ATM to buy drugs)

I don’t trust it wholesale. No one who knows what they’re talking about trusts it wholesale. Hallucination rates vary depending on who you ask. And you’re wrong about vibe coding, it works great if you’re working on some random side project and not working with a team that has to push to production

well i got a bacon number app with django and a .db that was like 2 gigs to work and i vibe coded it. i guess that’s the most complicated thing i’ve put together. i mostly use LLMs for instruction, debugging, and (sadly) writing my code for me when i’m too lazy to read the documentation

Yeah, I figured brand recognition was part of it. Everyon’e heard of ChatGPT- hell, last time I checked, ChatGPT was the number 1 app on the planet- but Claude isn’t nearly as popular, even though (in my opinion) it’s a lot better with code. It’s just a lot more thorough than the slop ChatGPT spits out
