Not that it’s ever safe to follow so close, but there’s also the subset of slow drivers who camp the passing lanes and prevent passing from taking place. Regardless of how fast you drive, if someone is behind you, move to the outside to let them pass.

Sounds like you’re focused on multiplayer games, but the Echoes of the Eye expansion pack for Outer Wilds is a phonemonal “spooky” and eerie game without being a true horror game. Highly recommend both it and the base game.
