How come NBC’s primary source is silent on Gaza when their goal reads: GRC works to investigate and document human rights abuses in order to seek accountability and also to assist in fact-finding missions or locate missing persons.[
They aren’t a western think tank now are they?

Baby steps are not enough. I hate this place. But yeah i take what i get i guess. If AfD really ends up following Maga-fascism, Germany will end up in their butt again probably.
- Comment on Why Ukraine will not – and should not – give up the Donbas or any other territory 1 week ago:
Russia has increased its drone production. Not sure by how much but I doubt this will put Ukraine in an advantageous position.
On spending I found this interesting overview. uiamp.org/…/economics-russian-ukrainian-war-2022-… I have not checked it validity. The point is just to show what a huge economic burden the war is on Ukraine compared to Russia.
The question really is not what these two countries are looking for, as both are not very realistic. The question to me is: What and how can an end be realistically achieved, considering their opposed goals. I really don’t see how Ukraine’s position gets any better.
Maybe those military people could judge when a ceasefire makes sense. Politicians however have a mind of their own and personal gains often come before the well being of their people. Who makes the decision?
- Comment on Why Ukraine will not – and should not – give up the Donbas or any other territory 1 week ago:
Less arms sales to Ukraine and higher profit for Russia’s main source of income makes it look like a win over less shahed drones but I might be wrong.
I don’t see how and why Putin would give back Donbass and Crimea and I don’t see Ukraine taking it back. Russia simply has the material basis for waging war far longer. Ukraine is already bled dry, financially and personally.
If Ukraine is not ready to defend itself any longer it also is pretty late fore a ceasefire deal don’t you think?
- Comment on Why Ukraine will not – and should not – give up the Donbas or any other territory 1 week ago:
Beneficial how? They are indebting themselves one loan at a time, having to give off bonus like mineral access on top of it from time to time. What is the end goal? Zelensky probably would say to get back all conquered land. And while that is understandable, how do we suppose to make Russia agree? They can and will keep on going much longer.
Like don’t get me wrong. I get why a peace without land back seems moot to many people but the alternative is war without land back.
And capitulation would entail agreeing to any demands made. That is what happens when there is no fight left on either side. When do you suppose that happens? Especially considering the war in Iran, which seems pretty beneficial to Russia if you ask me.

Okay so you say the EU should keep the war running as long as possible. If it makes me a monster to not see any sense in it so be it.
- Comment on Why Ukraine will not – and should not – give up the Donbas or any other territory 1 week ago:
Yes exactly. Russian soldiers are forced as well, never said anything else.
If the fucking west was really interested in Ukraine winning we would have given them the weapons they needed early on. But we didn’t want them to win, we want them to keep Russia busy.
There are literally no gains for either side in the last two years. Do you suppose this war should go on until either side has it all?
Your outrage about where my account was made is pretentious and silly tbh.
- Comment on Why Ukraine will not – and should not – give up the Donbas or any other territory 1 week ago:
The soldiers fight because they are forced to. They are able to because we sell them weapons with money we loan to them. Win win for our rich guys.

What do Ukrainian conscripts think about rejecting “so called” peace? Does not matter, we want them to keep fighting for EU.
- Comment on Europe takes first step to banning AI-generated child sexual abuse images 2 weeks ago:
The fact is, people would like to ban pedophiles from existence. As it is a genetic problem, that is literally impossible until our next fascist eugenic program.
Instead we should maybe foster an environment where we make clear that actions make monsters, not genetic predisposition or thoughts. People like that should be getting help already during puberty but as things stand people are afraid to reach out. Wonder why.
To this AI thing: It is nothing but outrage politics. These politicians don’t want to really help victims or fight abuse (that’s expensive ). Still they want to look like heroes on top of installing controlling mechanisms.

I mean yeah gamers still will have a harder time because some games won’t work but that is dodgeable with dual boot, virtual machines or a dedicated gaming PC where windows slop can do less harm.

I am so happy that Windows has become such shit that it made me, one of the most “lazy” people I know, switch to Linux. I hope they crash and burn but our society has done a good job not educating people on the tech they use every day. Tech illiterates don’t really have options do they.

- Comment on iPhone guy wondering how you guys manage your gallery! 2 months ago:
Personally I prefer a folder-based gallery system. It really comes down to the app. I use Foss Gallery and for management I try to sort into new folders. So honestly it is not that different. If you have a big pile of unsorted pictures it becomes an annoying task.
