- Comment on Alien Life Could Look Nothing Like What We Expect. Here's How Microbes Beyond Earth Might Live Without Liquid Water 2 months ago:
Exactly. Gun to my head id say there’s a 99.999% if we ever discover life outside of earth it will be carbon based life requiring liquid water. But who the fuck knows really

Expecting alien life to look any certain way at all is already a logical flaw. At best we could speculate on likely chemistries and even that would be little more than guesswork

An absolute joy to watch, as always

Can’t really argue with that, RA2 was just such an icon and a mainstay whereas I feel like the C&C brand was largely on the way out by the time of generals, personally

- Comment on As a Chinese American, if I wanna travel internationally, is it better to just say I'm American, or pretend to be a Chinese National (to hide from Anti-American sentinments)? 2 months ago:
Being more honest than I should be. Chinese tourists have a pretty bad reputation bor being rude and destructive, not following rules and norms
Americans reputations have taken a nosedive off a cliff, but actually is anything my stock in American tourists specifically has gone up slightly.

Not gonna lie this is funny as fuck.
If you said you were a Chinese national I’d say please don’t fucking feed the wildlife bro.
Interestingly if I see Americans abroad I usually assume they are far less likely to be the special ones

- Comment on Are users data protected on the fediverse? 2 months ago:
Why? It’s all public information. If a central authority COULD delete all your posts and erase your existence, that would be bad
- Comment on Southern California air board rejected pollution rules after AI-generated flood of comments 2 months ago:
Do they not fucking check this stuff? When I sign a petition to my government they want to know if I’m a constituent or not. Otherwise why would they care about my signature on a page

If you would still consider yourself Republican at this point. I assume you want to be part of the problem more than the solution
