I guess we fundamentally disagree on the effectiveness of DEI policies at the workplace.

I will admit I was mistaken, I forgot the quarterly company wide corporate email asking employees to not be openly racist at work.
Truly solving inequalities, one middle manager asking you to sign that you’ve read the email at a time.

Social studies are about worth as much as the paper they’re written on. 60 years ago studies said black people were inferior. In 60 years it’ll be something else. They always match the era they were made in.
The only true solution to inequality is actual action against the cause of inequality, not some feelgood quarterly corporate email asking employees to not be openly racist at work.
- Comment on Python Foundation rejects $1.5M grant with no-DEI strings 2 days ago:
DEI is nothing more than an acceptable form of racism.
Hiring people to meet quotas does not make a society better and does nothing to fix the root cause of inequalities.
Free access to quality education, healthcare and funding higher education for the people who can’t afford it is how you fix things for the better. This is the future and good.
DEI is the equivalent of a small band aid over a putrid, gaping wound.

I’d rather find toilets but when cities decide to remove them, all that’s left is walls.
- Comment on ANTI PEE PAINT 1 week ago:
Cities: “ugh, toilets are so expensive to maintain. Remove them.”
Cities: “everything smells like piss now :(”
If there is no toilets available, a wall or a bush does the trick just fine. I ain’t going to rupture my fucking bladder because some bean counter decided to count beans.

NGL if you have the money, a Watercooled bed is amazing.
Getting one that doesn’t work through the internet though, good luck.

The machine I have to use at work was updated to windows 10 two months ago. One of the software we use for our job is hosted on a VM running Windows 98.

I use Wikipedia when I want to know stuff. I use chatGPT when I need quick information about something that’s not necessarily super critical.
It’s also much better at looking up stuff than Google. Which is amazing, because it’s pretty bad. Google has become absolute garbage.

Imagine thinking of population and living as efficiency first and not wellbeing.
City people are crazy lol.
Rabbit hutches are the most efficient way to keep rabbits. They piss and shit on themselves and on top of each other, live sad and miserable lives, and require synthetic food being directly delivered to them. Just like human cities :D
Also, the great thing about not living in a city is the fact you can grow your own food reducing the need for incredible amount of supporting land around you. I barely have to go to the grocery store or farmer’s market for my vegetables.

It’s the kind of farming you need in order to provide for the high density

I guess it also depends if you consider different lettuce/cabbage varieties as different plants.
- Comment on i enjoy high fructose corn syrup too 2 weeks ago:
Depends if you count spices I guess but most people only consume like a handful of different veggies all year long

It’s true you don’t own a selfish acre of perfectly farmable land instead you only survive because someone else is feeding you factory farmed, pesticide flavored, expensive monoculture food from their own acres moved into the city by the truckload :D so much better for the planet I agree :D :D

Containment has been a decade long, endless fight. You think you got rid of it all? There’s literally not a bramble in sight? Hahahahahahahaha no.

Can’t have biodiversity when you’re packing people to live in these
rabbit hutchesbig cities ‘to save the planet’ as they say.You need that factory farmed samey shit because without it you wouldn’t have the ability to feed the people living in these sad places.
You know who enjoys biodiversity? People who have access to their own garden to grow stuff :3 (capitalists hate this trick)
