LibreWolf has been quite good to me. I just allow cookies on my most used websites and it’s been perfectly fine to use.

- Comment on AI Slop Is Ruining Reddit for Everyone 2 days ago:
Doesn’t make it any less better. It sucks that the second something becomes mainstream, it gets sloppified imediatelly. Look at Reddit, Discord…
- Comment on Google's Agentic AI wipes user's entire HDD without permission in catastrophic failure 4 days ago:
Yea the AI peddlers force the AI down your throat then write in a tiny text “btw this thing can kill you te-hee”
- Comment on Google's Agentic AI wipes user's entire HDD without permission in catastrophic failure 5 days ago:
100% agree with that tldr
- Comment on Google's Agentic AI wipes user's entire HDD without permission in catastrophic failure 5 days ago:
I agree with you, but still, the AI doesn’t do this by default which is a shitty defense, but it’s fact
- Comment on Google's Agentic AI wipes user's entire HDD without permission in catastrophic failure 5 days ago:
Kinda wrong to say “without permission”. The user can choose whether the AI can run commands on its own or ask first.
Still, REALLY BAD, but the title doesn’t need to make it worse. It’s already horrible.

The amount of people that don’t use ublock Origin is baffling to me. They’re just rawdogging the internet

- Comment on Why do some people have so many tabs open on their browser? 1 week ago:
Because people are overworked or overwhelmed, in my experience.
I noticed that people who are laid back and or relaxed for whatever reason, will close them.
On the other hand, people I know that regularly overwork themselves have a billion tabs open all the time.
They could also be tech illiterate I guess.

Yea we do put those right back, they don’t keep track of reading sessions per book or anything like that

Y’all must realize “Europe” isn’t one single sort of entity that defines all rules…
In Romania you are required to hand it to a worker to have it checked in and catalogued, you can’t just put it back because they need to know if you went over your holding period or not. You’re not allowed to keep it forever

- Comment on Scientific Exposure 1 week ago:
Yea and idk about other parts of the world, but in Romania, the publishing fee is paid in full by the university if the researcher is part of a doctorate or masters programme… So it’s just science institutions trading money between each other here…

Same dude!
I got games to run too, using Lutris. I can give you a few tips if you want. I put it on a thinkpad T470p.
I can probably run pretty much anything using Lutris. It can read any iso file and presumably even .exe files though I haven’t tried it with exe’s.
Still, most of what we need is available just in a browser or from open source, like Libreoffice.

As much as I like hating CEO’s… Aren’t small company CEO’s included? I feel that at least some of those people risked it all to build a company so they really shouldn’t be bundled in here…

AI is for the idiot investors to believe in only
And, it’s also a good way yo turn “we fired 30 people because our company is failing” into “we replaced 30 positions with AI”
