Battlefield 1 is the one set in WW 1 where everything is muddy and you can’t even choose a woke skin

When I said this on Reddit I got downvoted to hell and called a hater lol

And even then there’s Battlefield 1 which got all the content unlocked now, is fairly cheap, the servers are going strong, and it’s really really fun.

I literally never said everyone should source all their work. You’re reading between the lines. What I said is that SOME science channels sneak in misinformation and shilling in their videos which are otherwise educational and most of the time very accurate.
- Comment on kurzgesagt – AI Slop Is Killing Our Channel 2 weeks ago:
That + entertainment over information quality. I’m not here to convince anybody, my goal was to make y’all think twice about just blindly trusting theor videos. They’re the Linus Tech Tips of the science channel world.
- Comment on kurzgesagt – AI Slop Is Killing Our Channel 2 weeks ago:
Yea, nah, it absolutely is. They often sneak in bad information and poorly interpreted data to fearmonger (see their nuclear power “educational” videos where they instill fear) and other such things. They’re just like some other science channels. Like veritasium, which shilled out for Waymo. Just because the animations are very very nice doesn’t mean you shouldn’t confirm the information they present, and quite often it’s wrong on purpose to butter up the right people. If you don’t believe me, that’s okay. They’re not dangerous like pseudoscience channels. Most things they present are good. I just hate that they mix in BS.
- Comment on kurzgesagt – AI Slop Is Killing Our Channel 2 weeks ago:
Yea the channel is known for being biased and just weird in general

I don’t really think cameras are all that bad, the bad thing is the centralization. If someone is willing to record local-only for their own security I see nothing wrong with that.

For legal reasons, he jusut told me in PM that he will go there to get more candy. He will take ALL their candy and EAT it in front of the ring camera.
- Comment on Why does Helldivers 2 have such a bloated install size on PC? Old hard drives, says dev 3 weeks ago:
SSD’s are at best like… 3 times the cost of an HDD (and in that case you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel finding the worst SSD’s known to man)… At worst they are like 5-6 times more expensive. Speaking in absolutes is irrelevant, the relative costs are the ones that matter. Different regions have even higher prices, too.

- Comment on Microsoft Is Abandoning Windows 10. Hackers Are Celebrating. 3 weeks ago:
They haven’t so far. If they ever do I’ll let you know so you can be really happy about my failure
- Comment on Microsoft Is Abandoning Windows 10. Hackers Are Celebrating. 3 weeks ago:
No need, the entirety of a building from a Uni I went to runs on XP with the last security patches and browsers that are built for xp compatibility like Supermium with security extensions. They never got hacked. No issues at all and the students can connect to the internet all they want, they aren’t even monitored besides checking they still work once in a while. This is because despite lack of funding for new PC’s, the security department is competent and actually knows how to work around that, as opposed to juat saying what you are all saying here. There are Win7 machines there too, which can be remotely accessed via internet. There’s a magical thing called a firewall. Did you know routers also have a firewall? Crazy right? Did you also know that almost all PC’s are connected to routers, not directly to the internet? Crazy too, right? That’s like basic level security knowledge. If you’re so terrified you will be hacked that you’re willing to put up with Microsoft’s shit, i feel bad for you all.

Yea the rich editor probably broke on an update or something. I’ve dealt with that before. Those rich text editors like ckeditor are amazing, until they break one day or a plugin becomes unsupported and you either fix it, or it messes up loads of your content… Caching saved us more than once with that sort of thing. We just used the cached pages and lelft the original completely broken, it just couldn’t be edited anymore but it showed up fine.
